    Ate a bagel chip crum

A crum of these chips was on the ground and my bunny ate it before I could get to him. Should I be worried? It was definitely a small piece

    Worried about bunny’s poop

He eats a blue seal alfalfa pellet! Which is the same one his breeder was feeding him and also the same one I’ve been feeding my other bun since I got her! But yes, I was thinking that too maybe it’s a richer diet than he was used to if he didnt get as many pellets before or was only eating...

    Worried about bunny’s poop

Thanks! Winslow doesn’t like timothy hay thats whu I have to mix a little alfalfa in. Ive always done that though and this has never happened! I dropped off a fecal sample at the vet so fingers crossed that it’s something simple. They are my babies!!

    Worried about bunny’s poop

She has always had this type of pellets and this has never happened before! I usually feed them a combo of both hays but I can try doing what you said. Im just worried maybe the baby had some kind of parasite and she got it

    Worried about bunny’s poop

I found that same kind of poop in my other rabbit’s cage (1yr old female). They live separate right now because he is a baby. She could have been exposed to his poop though. Could it be a parasite!?

    Worried about bunny’s poop

Thanks for the advice!! I’ll probably wait a little before introducing veggies to him just in case, but I will definitely start small. And I will definitely have to check out those water bowls especially for my other bun!

    Worried about bunny’s poop

I haven’t given him any fruit or veggies yet because I thought he was too young!! I think you are right though, I think he wasn’t eating enough hay. I cut back a little on pellets and he has eaten a lot more of his hay in the past day. I haven’t seen any weird poop today. Hopefully we’re in the...

    Worried about bunny’s poop

okay thanks! Yeah I read that babies could have more pellets and that some people even do unlimited pellets so I was trying to be lenient with it. My 1 yr old bun gets 1/8 cup in the morning and at night! But yes, I think he is still getting used to the hay feeder that I have for him too. He...

    Worried about bunny’s poop

Okay thanks! I think maybe ive been giving him too much of his feed so I’m gonna cut back on that and try to get him to eat more hay. I think he was eating more feed than hay!

    Worried about bunny’s poop

Hi guys! I just got an 8 week old bunny last Saturday. Today I noticed some weird poop in his cage that stinks.. idk if I would consider it diarrhea but it doesnt look like the cecotropes he had the other day. Maybe he is getting more pellets than he is used to? he is on the same brand that the...

    Rabbit ate too much cardboard!?

My bunny always does things like this to me. Even after a year I still get so nervous! But especially when I first got her I was a wreck 😂 As long as he is still eating and pooping he should be fine!! Just keep an eye on him 😊

    Matted fur

Yeah he looks like my lionlop when she was a baby! He’s 8 weeks old. My mom saw the parents but I didn’t get to. I did see some siblings though, they looked more like regular holland lops and had short hair. The place didn’t seem super legit though, but he is in good hands now. Either way we...

    Matted fur

thank you! I will try to find a better brush, I’m just worried it will hurt him to pull at it! I’ll just have to be super careful. I’ll try watching the videos before I do it

    Matted fur

I’m not sure! I just got him on Saturday. Ive tried using just this soft brush so I don’t bother him but doesn’t seem to be working. Maybe I’ll just cut the worst one.

    Matted fur

It’s kinda hard to tell because he is white but its matted all on his sides right behind his head! I’m assuming because he can’t reach there. I just don’t wanna hurt him by tugging at it but its really close to the skin

    Matted fur

Hi guys! I just got an 8 week old holland lop but his hair is super long, more like my lionlop’s. His hair is fairly matted, I don’t think the woman really brushed him. I dont want to hurt him but I want to get the mats out! It seems to be bothering him he is grooming a lot. Any tips?

First time rabbit owner - advice please??

Hello! I am pretty new to this as well, I have a 1 yr old and i just got a 2 mo old but I have learned a lot in the past year! A super easy toy to give him is the cardboard at the end of a paper towel/toilet paper roll! My rabbit loves those! Also yes, be careful with your cords (I learned this...
