    Help lethargic bunny

I'm so sorry. I've read that a bonded rabbit can experience severe emotional and physical distress after losing their partner. I can only suggest to continue with your GI Stasis care and hope for the best.

    Bonding trouble

The reason Q was at the store was because local Animal Services was over run with rabbits. Even the fosters homes are full. However for one reason or another most of them arent available for adoption. Her brothers are still at the store so I could try to return her, but that wouldn't sit right...

    Bonding trouble

I have been leaving them in separate areas, with a gate that lets them see and smell each other. I have been using neutral territories for interactions (or trying to, I have limited space and Ruby is not housed in a cage or pen) I have been using treats and greens to encourage positive...

Anyone's rabbit still biting after neutering/spaying?

My male didn't bite, but once he hit puberty he peed and pooped everywhere my scent was strong. He would also spray and try to hump me and my cat. Getting fixed changed all that. If the behavior existed before the horomones kicked in, then getting fixed likely wont change things

    Bonding trouble

Now its only been a week but I'm worried I'm failing at my first bonding. Ruby my male has been with me for 1.5yrs. He's 3 and fixed. He seeks attention from everyone, even my cat. I've been working very long hours, and he's made it clear he doesn't enjoy the solitude. So 6 months ago I...

    Peeing on my bed! Help!

Can you you put up a baby gate? I had simular issues with my male until he was fixed. I think my rabbit was trying to claim me and where my scent was strongest as "his". So I saw it as a form of territory aggression. If I were you, I'd get a cage or pen he can go in when not supervised if the...

How many people feel rabbits are high maintenance?

No, I just need to get better at not leaving stuff laying around for him to chew. He makes me a cleaner person... so basically my rabbit forced me to become an adult

    Sneezing rabbit

Length of an average bun pregnancy is 31 days. You should be at day 24 right? How's it going?

LOTS OF QUESTIONS! Sorry in advance!

As long as your animals seem chill with each other, let it happen. Rabbits are social creatures, and sometimes will take the chance to bond with other animals. Keep an eye on them and if something changes be ready to step in. Hold off on making changes such as a bunny friend or free roaming...

Help in choosing Timothy Hay Brand

Hay only goes bad if it gets wet. If you store your hay somewhere dry I promise you will never have that problem again. I did buy some hay once that had moisture already trapped in the bale. If you stored your hay correctly and it still went off, then you might have been unlucky like I was.

    Sick bunny?

You scared me girl! That sounded like classic GI stasis symptoms there! Poor babe does sound like they've got an upset digestive system. Try only letting her eat hay for awhile.

Help in choosing Timothy Hay Brand

Momi from what I can see online is a Singapore based company, and you might have trouble getting reviews from other countries. I'm in Canada and I haven't seen it here anyway. Its probably cheaper for you because theres no international shipping. I say try it. Let your bunny be the judge. If...

New to this whole thing and her poop is so soft.

Oh wow! I'm so glad to hear things have taken a turn for the better! Oh my gosh I had no idea she was so young! Poor thing... A few notes; the wire brush might be harsh on her skin, drag the brush across your own skin, and get a feel for what a comfortable level of pressure is. The spray is...

New to this whole thing and her poop is so soft.

Oh jeez I didn't realize there were multiple pages for this thread. I'm sorry things have been so hard. You sound like you really want to do whats best for her

New to this whole thing and her poop is so soft.

The excess sugar in the carrots will make the diarreah worse. You NEED hay. Her stomach probably hurts a lot at this point. Domesticated rabbits have very sensitive stomachs and they need hay to live. If she doesn't seem to be interested in the pellets, she was probably on an all hay diet and...

Male Rabit, 15 w.o., smells like onions

No rabbit REALLY likes being held. Its not something you need to do too often even when you have a rabbit that needs it. Come up behind your bunny, put your hands under his front legs and firmly press his sternum to your chest. You can do this a few times before you clean him to get him a little...

    Socks

Thank you for the reply! I know that digging at your pant leg means "You are in my way! Move stupid human! I am the alpha bunny and you should do as I say!" And thought the sock thing could be something simular. We just bought slippers for guests, so its not a big issue. Your bunnies and gliders...

    Socks

I was just curious if my rabbit's behaviour is typical and means something, or if he's a weirdo. He seems to hate it when people wear socks. If he catches someone wearing socks, he will grab it and proceed to drag them off as best he can. This has led to some nipping of guest toes, which is more...

HELP!!! I think my bunny is in GI stasis

Some rabbits can be snobby eaters, mine will only eat western timothy hay, all others are clearly inferior to him. Try a different kind of rabbit friendly hay. Rabbits prefer water in a still water bowl (not a fountain)

Sleeping with your rabbit? Has anyone done it?

I'm used to my cat moving around the bed, so I don't notice when my rabbit does it. I will wake up occasionally and he'll be snuggled into me or staring at me intensely while I sleep. Since rabbits sleep so lightly, I wouldn't worry about squishing them, unless you flail violently in your sleep...
