    My rabbit don't get pregnant

I dont know how to undo the reaction I accidentally clicked on in your post but there is a pinned thread stating these opinions in this section is against the rules as well as vice versa-promoting bred rabbits in the adoption/rescue forum...

    My rabbit don't get pregnant

Looks like the guy was wrong. If the other one turns out to be a female like the guy said you still need to take precautions. Both of mine are male and behaved exactly the way you said when they were younger until they got older then the dominant one was too aggressive to the submissive one who...

    bunny making grunting noises?

Honking? That's mating behaviour, but can also be used to signify that she wants your attention (she stops when you come close) in a spayed female it is also a happy noise expressing excitement and zeal. Don't worry about it it's not a bad thing and not used to express fear or discomfort

Bunny constantly trying to mate with me?

I agree ^^I also immediately thought the same after reading the first post, that you should get him a plushie/stuffed animal in the meantime to circle and hump.

Can anyone help me with my rabbit?

Where do you live? I think it's a reaction to the heat. She will be lazier and sleep more, I posted a similar thread last year. Edit: I would rule out things like having issues maintaining body temperature due to the change in heat of the surroundings

    Need help. Confused.

I would take him to the vet again, possibly another vet and have the inside of his mouth checked. An xray, ultrasound also if necessary.

    urgent EYE help plz read

The tear duct infection is what my dad thought it might be, I didn't want to speculate and treat him myself based on something that's not even confirmed so I talked to a vet and he prescribed me medicine, I will do the therapy regimen he gave me for the time period given and observe the effects...

    urgent EYE help plz read

Yes it's morning, nobody put anything on his affected eye... His eye is not watering any more but it's smaller due to the eyelids being closer together due to slight possible inflammation... My dad looked it up and said it may be a tear duct infection. Everything else is normal, like eating...

    urgent EYE help plz read

So my mom separated the two unfixed male rabbits, into their separate cages for the night. I opened the door to both of them and was petting/getting both my hands licked (right hand in one cage, left hand in the other) and it was fine until the the problem (the one male dominant rabbit who's...

    Pregnant bunny... help?

I agree with the posters above---the does do most of the child rearing. If anyone needs to be adopted its those kits that will be grown and start reproducing with each other. You can separate them from the mother after 8 weeks and look for new homes for them in the meantime. Separate the buck...

    My female gave birth!

Don't be too hard on yourself, bunnies reach Sexual maturity between 3-6 months, and neutering/spaying is not usually performed before that, so there was really no other precaution you could have taken apart from separating them. As for now, separate them until he heals from the neutering.

Pairing 1 month old bunny with much older rabbit

Rule number one is always introduce two new rabbits in a NEUTRAL territory that is unfamiliar to BOTH of them under supervision...this is a real rookie mistake in introducing two unknown rabbits to each other for the first time... How would you feel if you suddenly had to share your bedroom...

    Rabbit nips me for fun?

Both of my rabbits could either be licking me and then suddenly nip me or just nip me and when I put my hand near them again/my hand is still there then they will either lick again or start binkying... They don't really nip too hard but am I promoting bad behavior or something? Will it get...

One bunny sleeps more than the other?

Well it's 40°C outside right now, my rabbits are indoors with me, the ceiling fan and cooling fan are constantly on however the latter is facing me, my floor is made of tiles and stays colder than the actual temperature. I do have water bottles in the fridge I will put them in the freezer and...

One bunny sleeps more than the other?

I don't know if I can bump my old thread (?) Anyway I'd say since this weekend or Sunday onwards (the past 4-5 days) the heat has really increased here. I am starting to notice them being less active than they used to be and always sleeping on the cold floor...is this something to worry about...

    Rabbit passed away suddenly

RIP Peachy. You can look into getting a necropsy, you may find the cause of death that way.

One bunny sleeps more than the other?

One of my bunnies sleeps more than the other. Im worried is it too much? I also feel like the more active of the two has started sleeping more to keep the other one company maybe or mirroring behaviour. They're both healthy otherwise, no problems with pooping, peeing, balance, playing, eating or...

My rabbits suddenly died one after another

This is what Dana Krempels, PhD says: Sadly, many baby rabbits are weaned too young to be away from their mothers. Instead of being allowed to nurse for a full, normal eight weeks, they are taken away while they are still "cute" and marketable--often as young as four weeks. This can spell death...

    Getting hay in india

Hello! I got mine in Dewas (a city 30-40km from Indore) I don't live there though, was just visiting the area briefly. Mine are also white coloured red eyed albino baby rabbits, the pet shop owner told me they were two months old.
