    Pee Pee Butt

This morning it was not damp down there, but I have noticed it that way at least three times, including two days prior. We just saw the vet a week ago and she didn’t notice anything, but that day was the first day we noticed her pee pee butt and the vet showed no concern.

    Pee Pee Butt

She has a plastic grill litter box, so she doesn’t sit in any puddles. I haven’t noticed her dribbling urine as she hops. I just think her fur is so thick and it could be the way she sits ‍♀️ Can I shave some fur around that area for just a trim, or would that be too stressful for her?

    Pee Pee Butt

Help! My Lop has pee pee butt and I don’t know what to do! I try to clean her each morning, but her bum takes so long to dry. I do clean her cage and litter box daily. Her fur is just so long! Her poops are normal. It’s just her pee that sticks on her tail. I really hope to figure this out soon...

    Revolution for Bunnies??

I took Hazel to the vet for the first time yesterday just for a Well Bunny Check. They say she’s pretty healthy for the most part except I need to stop feeding her kale so much to stop the pasty, white urine. Anyway, they also prescribed Revolution to prevent fleas. She’s almost an indoor bunny...

    Rabbit and Cavey Show

We took our Holland Lop, Hazel, five months old, to a Rabbit and Cavy Show last weekend at the nearby botanical garden. We couldn’t enter her in as a show bunny because she’s been spayed, but we did enter her into the pet show that was held after the show rabbit portion. She ended up winning...

Why did my rabbit just die like that ?

Were they spayed? Perhaps it could have been uterine-related if they weren’t spayed? I am so sorry about your bunny....they really grab at your heart ❤️

how to get a rabbit and three dogs to live with each other ?

Maybe somehow associating food with your hand coming into the cage would help. Start with offering her a treat through the cage door first. Then when she’s occupied with that, take care of cage business. If she lunges again, slowly remove your hand and then offer another treat. Hopefully that helps?

GI Stasis questions, I'm worried sick :(

Ohhhhh our hearts break for you!! I’m sure many of us know the heartbreak of losing a sweet bunny, even if after only a short time of having them. They have a way of tugging at our souls. We lost our sweet Bailey day after New Year’s to GI stasis. It was devastating. I can’t imagine losing...

Is it possible to have too much salad?

My bun gets maybe two cups a day, but sometimes I forget, so she only gets one But she has an all-you-can-eat hay buffet! However, she enjoys her hay-based pellets a lot more, and that is limited to a scoop in the morning and a scoop in the evening.

    Seaweed?

Just curious if it’s safe to offer seaweed to our little buns?? Our family consumes noritake and it’s quite delicious, with lots of great minerals. Any thoughts?

how to get a rabbit and three dogs to live with each other ?

My sunny bunny, Hazel, had a week or so of cage aggression when she was about 11-12 weeks. I was seriously getting anxiety every time I reached in to restock her hay, pellets, and clean her litter pan. She then stopped at about 13 weeks, and we got her spayed at 15 weeks. She’ll be 18 weeks...

    Pears?

I’ve given my little sunny bunny, Hazel, one “baby-safe” slice of pear, and she absolutely loved it! Haven’t given her any more since because fruit tends to attract ants in her little bunny condo :( On occasion, I’ve given her a thin, flat frozen strawberry slice right from my...

Quick help needed, rabbit suddenly just sitting there, looking down with eyes halfopen RIP

Oh Hon, I am soooo sorry to hear about your bunny :( Please know it couldn’t have been anything you did, especially since it sounds like all her routines were the same. Most likely, it’s because she was stressed from losing her bonded sister, coupled with trying to cope without her. Not really...

    Another mistake!!

Yes, it’s a good idea to keep newspaper in his litter box that smell of his urine. What I do is keep that at the bottom, then I add absorbent litter paper, then a thin layer of hay, then place the grill on, and on top of the grill, at the corner, I place a handful of Timothy hay, and inside the...

    Loved and Lost Bailey ❤️

Thank you all! I so appreciate the thoughts ❤️ We still miss Bailey oh so much!! We think of her daily, and thankful that each day does get a little easier, as we think more of our good times with her, and not as much anymore of how she died :( I think this has a lot to do with us having a new...

My rabbits suddenly died one after another

My heart goes out to you for having to watch those babies go through all that trauma Bunnies have a way of making their way into our hearts, no matter how short period of time you’ve had them. Please know that it couldn’t have been anything you did alone that made this outcome. We all make...
