    Struggling with my bunnies' death.

Sorry for only replying now. Thank you for your response. I'm sorry about your buns passing. I've dealt with a few passing (I foster and rescue) And although they are just babies and I only had them for a couple days, I still cry my eyes out if one happens to pass

How do I make everything less overwhelming?

I love my bunnies. They are like children to me. I love each and every one as well as their unique personalities. I have 6 "pet" bunnies whom are all bonded. I would like to efficiently take them outdoors to play without it being a whole big fuss. My youngest 2 are special needs and do not...

    Struggling with my bunnies' death.

I know this is a bit morbid and I apologise. But I'm struggling a bit. How do people accept the thought that one day their bunnies will pass? I tend to overthink a lot and this possibly be one of those cases but lately I have been so upset and in tears knowing that my babies will one day wither...

HELP ORPHAN RABBIT BABIES AND RETARDED MOTHER.

Wow this post is a bit of a rollercoaster. Honestly, do not hand rear your babies. I get that they are adorable and cute but you don't need to unless it is absolutely necessary. They will most likely die being handreared. I think you might have a male and female on your hands and the running...

URGENT - Please help....litter born today 7 kits......

Hope the buns are doing well. Mom should be fine feeding them. Just make sure they are being fed. I had to recently hand rear babies and it is a ton of work and extremely tiring. Good luck and enjoy them

    Desperately need help please

Thumper and Juniper (Juno). They are a little bigger than these pictures now but hardly. They turned 5weeks old yesterday. Still on milk but out of a saucer and not a bottle anymore. They are the most adorable little fluff balls and have the biggest most loveable personalities. So much hard work...

    My bunny is not okay

Just updating. She is fine. She is just a mommy's baby and I had just started a job where-as I was at home with them daily. So it was a bit of change

    My bunny is not okay

I made an appointment for her and just came home but she seems fine now. I will take her anyway to be on the safe side. I think her nails might be bugging her as they are a bit long although she just had them cut. But we shall see

    Sneezing rabbit

Perhaps throw in some extra hay for her to nest with and just let her be for a while instead of trying to handle her too much. Hope all goes well. Mine is acting the same but not pregnant

    My bunny is not okay

My bunny is not doing great. She isn't sickly or anything but she is just wanting to be picked up which is not like her. She never ever chews anything besides her newspapers, her sticks or toilet rolls but she is frantically gnawing on everything in site. I have checked her feet, her teeth and...

    I need help

I made this out of cardboard (not a breeder so didn't need/want something permanent). I had to add the lip because the babies were coming out when the mom would hop out. I used paper tape because I didn't want her to chew on it

    Randomly? Thumping

I figured what the trigger was. It was the vacuum on in another room. I didn't even notice it until it was used later and she did the same. I feel bad. So I'll just have her play outside when we vacuum

    Randomly? Thumping

My bunny has been thumping her back foot. She is fine and goes into her "hiding spot" under my one cabinet and starts thumping her one leg. I know it's a sign of anger/displeasure/fear but there is nothing to indicate she is scared or whatever the case may be. She is all perky and fine until she...

Little brat heads growing now. Getting big now. The one is refusing bottle. Both eating hay and ground pellets

    Infant bunny not drink mothersmilk

I would start feeding it seperately. Try to get it to latch onto the mom. Just have her lay down and guide the kit to her teats. If that doesn't work, I'd start milk replacement

    How is everything so far?

    I need help

You can also gently feel their nipples. My ones always had kind of swollen nipples when ready to give birth if that helps. Usually theirs aren't noticeable at all and they kind of stick out

My maids fed my rabbits iceberg lettuce !!!

Why is iceberg a no-no? We avoid it because it's on all the rabbit sites as a DO NOT FEED item. But if it's not poisonous, why must it be avoided?

This shows their tiny size more accurately. They look like teeny tiny mice. Excuse the mess, it was late
