Little Miracles Rabbit Rescue (EDIT: STOP THE NEGATIVITY!)

I don't think that the situation is "hopeless". It's obvious that she has to be monitored, constantly, and when she slips up the right authorities have to be called. Not the local ACO's but, PETA, NJSPCA, the Mayor, Town Councils, etc.. and be kept on top of until they have to do something.

Little Miracles Rabbit Rescue (EDIT: STOP THE NEGATIVITY!)

I have 44 rabbits here right now. My Vet, Dr. Hodes in Mine Hill, once said to me: "I don't see why you bother taking such care of them (bringing them to be vetted), they only live 5 to 7 years".....then he stopped and said "except at your house!!". That made me feel good. Officially, my doors...

Little Miracles Rabbit Rescue (EDIT: STOP THE NEGATIVITY!)

One of the things that is bothering me is that there are no dates on the pictures or proof of where they were taken. They have probably been cropped but, still, dates and location are necessary when making an accusation. I am not defending LLRR, just making a point. I am sure that "she" is aware...

Transport needed from Foster, RI to New haven CT

I am taking in 3, possibly 4, rabbits from Sweet Binks Rabbit Rescue, in Foster RI. These are rabbits that were involved in the Pascoag, RI rabbit abuse case. These rabbits were starved to the point where they were cannabalizing their dead cage mates. One has an eye injury. I can meet in, or...

    oh crud

I have a Petfinder "account" and they are up for adoption. People want to adopt them but, once they realize that they are more work than a regular house rabbit, they back out. Which is better than adopting them out and then having them returned.

30+ Rabbits in Atlantic City Need Rescue

Mike got back to me. Here's what he said: "If you could do me a favor while you are on line to help speed this issue up. The first thing we need to do is get a handle on if the rabbits are being cared for and in good health. Unfortunately the way the laws are written, we have to first...

30+ Rabbits in Atlantic City Need Rescue

Mike, with the NJSPCA, has contacted me. He has to bring this "case" to his supervisors. He'll get back to me. Will keep all of you posted.

30+ Rabbits in Atlantic City Need Rescue

Am now looking for the rescue that took 12 of his rabbits a few years ago. This rescue is supposedly in the Toms River Area and he cannot remember who this "rescue" was. This present "rescue" is becoming more than it had originally seemed. His name is Carl/Karl Byrne......anyone recognize it?

30+ Rabbits in Atlantic City Need Rescue

Some are bonded. They are separated. Spay/neuter clinics, in the States, do not include rabbits. He would have had to work through a rescue/shelter/SPCA to get a discount. He didn't.

30+ Rabbits in Atlantic City Need Rescue

I spoke to him and have been "troubled" ever since. He said that he's had most of them "since they were babies". None are older than four. None are spayed or neutered but, are kept separate. "All are healthy and happy". He's says that he has looked for good homes for them but, because of where...

30+ Rabbits in Atlantic City Need Rescue

Just got a call from England. Yes, England. 30+ rabbits are in need of rescue, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The sister called me about her brother who has been taking in rabbits, for years. Circumstances, loss of job, living quarters, etc.. is making it impossible for him to keep them. Can...

I need encouragement for new rabbits and problems

Revolution, for cats, can also be used to clear up the mite problem. Just Revolution, no other brand. The other brands have ingredients that will kill rabbits.

    oh crud

I found homes for two adults and one kit (five were born June 7th but, one kit was deformed & I had it PTS). So, I have 6 of them hoping around one of the rooms in my basement. I've had people express interest in them but, after they find out how much is involved with their grooming, they back...

How are you holding out? I still have six Angoras. They are adorable but, so much work. Had to buy new clippers...that aren't good enough to cut through that fur so, I went and bought a pair of scissors for $170 that does the job. Nobody is showing any interest in them....guess they are here to...

I don't have an up-date on these rabbits. So many kits were born, so many died either from sickness or the Does not having any interest in them. Two of mine have been adopted, one adult and one 2 month old kit (to a previous, experienced, angora rabbit owner). People want them, that is, until...

    oh crud

This is why, when I agreed to take the 6 that I took, I had already arranged to have them spayed and/or neutered. They arrived on the 5th, one had 5 kits on the 7th, all the adults were spayed/neutered on the 8th.....even the doe that had the kits.

    Angoras for adoption

We all got our rabbits on the 5th. One of the females I took (6 in all) gave birth to 5 healthy "little ones", on the 7th. All 6 went in for spays/neuter on the 8th. One of the other 4 girls did not make it through the surgery. There was a dead kit wedged in her birth canal from a previous...
