    Skin Infection?

My lactating bunny (third litter) has pulled out fur to an extent that the skin is visible. I looked closely and it felt like the redness was not normal. Dad said it might be fungal infection (he is a pharmacist). So, we put some cotrimazole cream and also dusted some cotrimazole powder. The...

    Broken leg?

Thank you so much, JBun. :) My vet prescribed Arnica Montage 30 both for ingestion and application (tincture). I was skeptical about this holistic approach, but he is doing a lot better. I don't know whether this is good or not but he jumped from a chair today while I was checking his...

    Broken leg?

See. I gathered information and learnt that there's only one clinic in the city who performs surgery on rabbits but they offer only amputation. He is reacting when I touch his leg so the vet said the leg would not need amputation. He said it might be sprain and waiting four days will not harm...

    Broken leg?

I somehow contacted my vet who is going to take an x-ray and if needed will prescribe Chickoo the pain meds. xx Mom agreed to take him after I cried so much. :) :cry1: He has a very sound apetite and is pooping normally. His leg seems shruken quite a bit. Dangling in the air. I was afraid to...

    Broken leg?

Hi guys. The past few days have been very confusing and full of stress for me. I have had exams and also have upcoming exams which will decide my future, my career. But I also have a bunch of bunnies at home who keep facing problems one time or the other. I am a very sensitive bunny parent, but...

Foul smelling urine in 15 day old bunny. Help.

Yes I have removed everything now. And a new rule: He stays with me other than the feeding time. I also gave him a simethicone med in case he is still uncomfortable. He is fine now it seems. :)

Foul smelling urine in 15 day old bunny. Help.

Yes he has been nibbling on pellets from his mom's dish when I wasn't looking. Such an intelligent baby. :P They are really confusing. I was like the boundary is 12 hours-24 hours and Joe has crossed 48 hours without poop how is it possible is there something called invisible poop. But I think...

Foul smelling urine in 15 day old bunny. Help.

I inspected his pee and it's clear liquid. His pee smelled a bit less today. One thing though, he hasn't been pooping that much. Haven't seen him poop since 15 hours. I dunno whether his mom groomed him while feeding. He used to poop normally before this smell started coming out. I feed my...

Foul smelling urine in 15 day old bunny. Help.

I have no idea about what it is related to. Some people are saying it's related to urine and some are saying it is related to poop. Joe pooped and peed 12 hours ago last. The last poop was perfect but the urine smelt awful yet again. Since then, no pee or poop even after two feeds. He has an...

Foul smelling urine in 15 day old bunny. Help.

Hi. My bun, Joe is 15 day old. So last day, I noticed a gel like round something sticking down there just after he peed. Also, his pee smelled REALLY BAD. REALLY FOUL. He pees a normal pale yellow. He has also started nibbling on pellets. I think he is the jolliest baby bun I ever came across...

    Cleaning rabbits ears?

I have had rabbits for more a year and never did I clean their ears. I have to say they are responsible bunnies who does their cleaning really well. :) You don't HAVE TO clean their ears unless there's some sort of buildup. If you suspect an infection, you should take the bun to a vet first...

    Overgrown Incisors, please help!

    Overgrown Incisors, please help!

I went to this vet after much problems since I have exams in a month and parents aren't really liberal about exams. I will have to wait for a month till exams get over. :( The main reason for this wait is it's very difficult to find a rabbit savvy vet here and the only vets I know live 25 kms...
