    Toys and making toys

Snickers loves to nibble on toilet paper rolls, she can really take on a bunch that i connect with a rope. Outside i have a chair wit a loose seat. So i hang a blanket over it and they like the "tent" idea. I have had store bought bunny tents, but they all got ruined, and they do not do that...

    Toys and making toys

My Snickers and Furby are sisters who like to play and discover new things. So i have made a bridge from an old piece of wood and baby toys. They are hopping through it and like it. Wonder what kind of toys your bunnys like and if you make it yourself, what are you making? I have had a...

    What might be going on?

Yeah i think every bunny is different with water drinking. Snickers does the same, she can lurk and drink and than it takes a while. But it sounds normal.

    Poopy butt

I am happy to report Furby is doing fine. She must have been sensitive. Last Wednesday we went to the vet. Her weight is ok. So i am just so happy with Furby's progression.

    Help my bunny's are fighting

Next may they are three years old. Snickers had her operation, because she was pulling out hair and making a nest (false pregnancy). After that she felt so much better. I never saw her preparing for children again. That was when she was a year old. Furby did not have an operation like that.

    Help my bunny's are fighting

They are seperate, but they were in a play area and usually this is fine. They sometimes even cuddle and fall asleep in that area. They have places to hide there and feel more secure. Do you advise also seperate play time?

    Help my bunny's are fighting

Today i got a scare, it was all quiet. All of a sudden my bunny sisters Furby and Snickers started to fight. They have had their moments, and i know that bunny sisters do that. But this time it wasn't just Snickers chasing after Furby. She can be quite dominant. This time was a shock for me...

she is doing better. I am happy to report that. Will keep an eye on it though. Probably she is more sensitive than her sister. Thanx so much for your pointers ! That really helped.

    Poopy butt

Thanx for the pointers, i will take a look at the pellets and veggies. What kind of greens do you suggest? I am gonna give her less pellets and see how she does. The sawdust is sprinkled in the cage, just for absorbation. Than straw and hay are on top of it plenty. Hope to see a change...

    Poopy butt

Thank you for answering. I use sawdust, sorry that translation was wrong. They both eat the same. I give them hay, straw, pallets, veggies like carrots, cauliflower, brocoli, etc. and parsley and basil leaves. Snickers does not have the same problem.

    Poopy butt

My bunny's seem to do fine, there is one thing: i wonder if i can do something to help my bunny. Furby sometimes has softer poop. It sticks to her butt. I wash her, after that she's ok. Does she need more wood chips? Is this a common problem?

    head swinging

My Snickers sometimes swings her head from left to right, looking concentrated while doing so. Have anyone ever seen this? And why does she do that? Maybe she is bored, but they have a great playground inside. And a great ran and house in the yard. Never saw Furby doing something alike...

Some of my rabbits take great joy in attacking the sweeping brush.

Bunny's are sometimes hard to get. Today i had a new toy for them. Snickers did not want to get out her cage. But she did, and i played with her and the coulourful ropes a while. Now it hangs in her cage and it's all fine. She's a fierce bunny.
