    changing litter box a lot????

Personally I have to change mine everyday, if I don't my bunny digs out all the **** and litter into her cage. Sometimes within 12h of changing I'll do it again. But I remember my other bunny it was once every couple days was good enough. And again personally I don't use bedding. When I did my...

    Litter options

Yeah but the funny thing is I've had this cage for months and I always open the door you see the dog coming out of, not the door on the left. She happened to get out of the one of the left, so it would've had to had been loose for a while and she just noticed now lol well now I have 2 small...

    Litter options

Okay its like this one but big. There is the door the dog is coming out of and a door on the left side too. If you look closely you can see the arm that you have to swing upwards, and then you literally lift the door up so the side prongs arent attached to the rest of the cage and open.

I have a quick different subject bunny crisis though.. I woke up this morning to go to work and give her morning pellets, and her cage was open and she was gone! She ended up being in my roommates room under his bed I had to coax her out with treats.. Now, I have a large dog pen that you have to...

Thanks for your comments, I will try your suggestions. No I haven't tried a grate, when I bought her the newer bigger litterbox there was the same one with a grate for $5 more but she was doing better at that point so I didn't think I needed it lol

So I have a lop, she was always rambunctious and picky. But slowly I have figured out what she likes so she stops being a little menice. Except I haven't figured out or tried anything for her Still digging in her litter box. I switched hays until I found the one she liked (sunseed Timothy hay...

    Space for 2 bunnies

So I currently only have one bunny. I just recently bought a cage for her that is 3x4 foot. At my local pet store, there is this bunny (same kind: lop but white and tan instead of white and black like my bunny) and she is grown now. She has been there too long, nobody has bought her so they...

    Loud bunny

My bunny used to be pretty loudwhen I got her, it seemed like she never slept. But she was a bunny, so I bought her tons of toys, I let her put all the time, she matured, and it stopped for quite a while. Lately I've been having late shifts so I don't get home till 7 at night and stay up till...

Potential New Rabbit Owner - Help

Just the majority of big bunnies are calmer and smaller are more finicky. I also noticed when I got my first rabbit that the white ones of the same kind, were very jumpy when my little black dwarf was calm as hell.

Potential New Rabbit Owner - Help

I don't agree with you depending on the age and the rabbit, a child can handle a bunny alone. I was 6 (I think) when I got my first bunny, and I handled her all the time and had no problem. She was a calm little black dwarf rabbit though

    Sad behavior

It just seems weird to me because when I brought her home to a new environment with a new cage and everything she adjusted quite quickly and quite well. I'm hoping she'll be excited enough about her new cage that the stress will kind of die down on its own.

    Sad behavior

I haven't built the new cage I said I moved her small cage downstairs so she could get used to being down there. I said I'm getting the supplies for the new cage on Friday. Also she knows my roommates well its not like she's new to them she seen and been pet by them many many times.

    Are rabbits friendly?

It all depends on the rabbit and how it was previously treated and how well you keep their environment and how much you pay attention to them. I had 2 bunnies in the past, both dwarf rabbits. One was very calm, just hung around. When running around she was very skiddish. But she loved being held...

    Sad behavior

So I had my bunny in my room. Right now she has a cage that's too small for her and its sitting on a shelf in my room. I'm getting all the supplies to build her a big nice cage on Friday, problem is it won't fit in my room and I want to have it on the ground so she can hop out freely. So...

    Leafy green options

She is reaching adulthood in a couple months, could that be why? Doesn't need as much food as a growing bunny?

    Leafy green options

No she's not lo she's a little fatty. But before I switched to plain pellets she was devouring hay now she just eats some pellets here, some hay there. She only started not eating as much recently so I'll keep an eye out to see if she gets too skinny.

Sitting in the rain led to wet feet, then baldness

I read somewhere that water can cause bunnies to go into shock-which might cause baldness? Not sure. I would ski, if its inflamed and looks in pain take them to the vet otherwise just keep an eye out.
