Bunny proofing and exercise area question

Hello how exciting!!!! 😊🐰 I have my girl is an x-pen which can be folded up and put away, she doesn't have a hutch she just lives in the pen. Excuse the mess, this is after she was very naughty!! But you will get an idea from this pic... My girl is in her pen whenever I'm...

    Advice please(new bunny owner)

This is my girls area ^^ She is also given hours out of her pen each day with lots of time, love and attention. The cage you have there seems very small even if you will give your bun time out of it each day. I suggest like the others have said, that you need to get a house that isn't...

Mom and Dad will not let me get bunnies!

I know this is a year old but I just wanted to comment anyway 😊 And it would be cool for the original poster to come forward and say if they ever got a bunny or if they are still waiting to get one?? I lived out of home when I got Phoenix (20), I wanted a bunny for ages!!! And kept...

    I need advice!

I agree with the comment above. I wouldn't leave your bun alone if there is no one to check on him at all.

    Shedding question

I have a mini lop and she doesn't shed too crazily. Sometimes I will find a bit but then other times I won't. But overall it's not too bad. And yes when they moult there will be a lot but that's not always. My girl is in an exercise pen when I'm not home and when I am, she's allowed to free...

    Post-Spay help needed ASAP

I know this comment is late and sorry! My girl Phoenix got spayed a few weeks ago and she refused to have her pain meds as well. She wouldn't allow me to syringe them so instead I squirted some of the pain relief on her paw bit by bit and she would lick it off because what bun wants to have wet...

Need help with new foster bunny

You seem to be doing the best you can! Lucky this buns got such a great carer :) Yes definitely get a heavier crock that the bun can drink as much water as needed without tipping it over. I'm assuming he isn't as thirsty though because he isn't eating and hay or pellets. Veggies have a lot of...

    My bunny hates being handled...

My girl is 6 months old and I've had her since 6 weeks of age. Of course when I first got her she wouldn't allow to me touched but as time has gone on she has gotten so much more comfortable with me. She has never liked being handled so I don't force it on her because I don't to hurt of frighten...

    Tips for a chubby bunny?

You cannot vaccinate a bunny against myxomatosis in Australia (that's if you are situated in Australia). You should post a pic and show everyone why you think his over weight. Also I agree with above ^^ that is not much pellets at all, stop feeding dried fruits so much (they are fattening)

Does your bunny do this too?

My girls bum twitches like crazy!!!! Haha every time she has banana. It's adorable!!

Could the ear mite treatment caused my rabbit to have seizures?

Hi I read your other post and the only way to find out if the medication used for treating the ear mites are bad is if you ask the vet who is treating them. You need to ask that vet to tell you the medication being used so you can post it on here so people can help you and your bunny. This is...

    Digging

Your lucky! My bun usually wakes me up between 3-4am and then again at 5.30am, she sometimes even decides to wake me up at 2am. She is a cheeky one who loves to jump off and onto her box constantly and doing the bunny 500 in her x- pen. Morning and night are when they are most active

    Pellet

I give my bun 1/4 cup of pellets each morning.

How many times a day do u need to feed ur rabbits ?

I give my girl 1/4 cup of pellets each morning when I wake up as well as plenty of Timothy hay to last her all day until I get home and I give more if she's ran out. She also gets a veggie in the afternoon as I'm still introducing slowly to her as she's never had them before. But bottom line is...
