    Neutered on Monday...missing litterbox today...

His box is a low tupperware under the bed storage box (he's a big boy and needs a big box) it is only about 6" tall though. He hasn't missed again since I posted the original message so I guess it was just hormonal.

Stewie had his neutering surgery yesterday...

I seen it mentioned on here that it takes about a month for the hormones to subside. Today he has been nippy/licky, he starts out licking fingers then he gets nippy. I figure he'll just be goofy for a few weeks.

what other pets do you have?

Besides Stewie (Flemish Giant Bunny), we have Kellie (15 year old African Grey Parrot), Charlotte (10 year old Golden Retriever), 5 parakeets (Rosie, Cloudy, Blueberry, Tiny, and Snowy), about 15 female guppies, 7 male guppies, and 10 Bettas (Edward, Victoria, Billy, Pumpkin, Rainy, Casper...

    Neutered on Monday...missing litterbox today...

Stewie got his neuter operation Monday, he is acting totally normal today But he has missed his litterbox with pee twice today, I was shocked to see two puddles in his room! He was 100% pee trained before the operation. Should I call the vet or not worry? I cleaned it up with white vinegar so...

Stewie had his neutering surgery yesterday...

Sebastian looks about as out of it as Stewie was, gotta feel bad for the little guys! Stewie is totally back to normal, actually I think the vet installed some sort of hyper bunny device as Stewie has been super spazy the past day or so. I neglected to take pictures of Stewie post-op, now I wish...

Stewie had his neutering surgery yesterday...

He is almost 100% back to normal today, thank goodness!! I was suprised when I went to pay, as I was quoted $350.00 and was only charged $215.00. I asked them if that charge was correct as I was quoted much more and they said it was so that was a nice suprise. The vet and vet techs took great...

    Rabbit Lady on Dr. Phil.....

She seemed so happy when she announced that one of them did infact latch on after a few tries! UGH!!! The diapers and clothes are totally rediculous, and as was mentioned bathing a bunny is not necessary at all, makes me wonder how much she actually knows about rabbits. I was trying to be nice...

Black Lab Attack, RIP to four lovely bun buns

I am so sorry for the loss of your bunnies! I hate it when :censored2: people let thier dogs run amock without any type of supervision, those dogs shoud have been in their own yard and not running around killing others pets! I blame crappy dog owners for such sad stories. Hope they get slapped...

    Rabbit Lady on Dr. Phil.....

Anyone see the show? She had 10 rabbits and treated them like her children, she dressed them up in clothes, had them wear diapers, and even tried to Breast Feed one of them! She was a bit "out there" but diid take good care of them even though she went overboard IMO.

Routine Neuter, but i'm a paranoid mommy

Stewie is going in for his neuter in a few weeks, our vet told us pulling food/water is not necessary as bunnies can't vomit.

    Drinking from bowl

Stewie has only ever drank out of a bowl, not sure what the breeder used (neglected to ask) but he took to the bowl with no issues...The only problem is this (see picture) he somehow tips his food bowl over into his water bowl! Pretty talented if you ask me because the bowl has to be pretty...

Good picture to share at this time of year

I like that! I found a tiny baby wild bunny in our garden last year while I was hoeing out some very tall grass, nearly hoed HIM but he moved and I stopped to explore. He had his eyes open and was by himself so I left him alone, just kept an eye on him for awhile, to make sure I hadn't scared...

Rabbit staying at house with cat and dog

Our Golden Charlotte loves our rabbit Stewie, and Stewie loves Charlotte, but they are both laid back critters. I agree, it depends on how mellow the bunny is.

Rabbits respiratory system - burning scents in the house

True, though there are people out there that sue others for anything and everything under the sun, even if it was their own fault. Gotta put warnings on everything under the sun these days.

    Bunnies are Expensive!!!

I WISH his neuter was only going to cost $150, my vet (that we have used for our dog for 9 years) quoted me $390 for a neuter so I called the vet that is closer to me with 3 exotic specialists that are highly reccomended and they quoted $350, I'm going with them due to their reputation. I...

    What do you hate?

I do the same thing and momma says I a sloppy slob but I's just like my veggies so I can see them all and pick the best bits for eating first! I get my momma back when she messes with my foods, I tip over my food bowl! That will teach her. :bunny18
