    Moldy hay?

I bought a bale of hay about two months ago and I noticed it was super dusty but I didn't realize this was mold spores until now. I feel so guilty for feeding it to them for the past two months! They always ate it all so I really didn't notice a problem until I looked up dusty hay. How is this...

    Molar spurs

My bunny has had two separate cases of molar spurs the first was not bad just one slight one and then about three months later she didn't eat her pellets and I knew something was up. She had them really bad but as soon as they were taken care of she was back to eating! We adopted her and were...

    Liquid meds

Long story short after a trip to the emergency vet and everything being ok now, I need to give my rabbit some liquid meds for GI and pain by syringe. She is very strong and will not even let me get her into a bunny burrito to give her the meds anymore. I have been putting it in banana and she...

    Newly bonded rabbits and eating

My rabbits are pretty much bonded as they have been together for almost two days and no fighting so far after months of dating. However when I feed them ( two separate bowls) one seems to take over and pretty much eats both bowls! She seems like a slow eater and takes her time but he definitely...

    Points on molars

Hi everyone. I went to the vet today and they said she had small points on her molars (2 ). They suggested getting them off..... So 35 bucks and 5 minutes later she's all good. They said it could be a one time thing but now I'm worried. She had a vet appointment last year from the shelter when...

    Vet trip and bonding?

I'm taking one of my rabbits for her yearly tomorrow and I'm working on bonding. I am in the very early stages, but I was wondering if I should take both? I've heard that taking one to the vet will change the scent and then the bonding could be set back or even cause a fight. Any experience...

Strange noise while grooming and eating

Natasha is making a strange noise while grooming and eating. I tried to upload a video but it won't let me. It stops as soon as she is done doing either. It sounds like a YouTube video labeled cooing? She is normal in every other aspect. No discharge or loss of appetite.

    Bonding rabbits...hmmmm

Ok so I was inquiring about volunteering for my local chapter of the house rabbit society and boom I ended up adopting! They have been set side by side for about a week in x pens with three inches of space between them and they were starting to lay and eat by each other. First 2 min face to...

    Timothy hay... Or any

Can you just switch brands of Timothy hay without gradually mixing it in. I switched and I can't tell if he is not eating it as much or just spreading it around.

    Bladder sludge

How long does it take for bladder sludge to clear up? I changed his diet to no pellets and more greens as well as more exercise. It's been about a week and it still looks the same.

    Kale

How much kale should I be feeding my rabbit. He is a 3.5 pound dutch. I've heard it is high in calcium and he did have a bit of sludge before I stopped feeding him pellets as advised by his vet. He also eats romaine and parsley and has unlimited hay.

    Hello!

Hi everyone! I've made a few topics within the last week, but I figured I would introduce myself now. I have had two rabbits over the years when I was younger and now have one male Dutch named Lou. As soon as I move out with my fiancé we agreed to look into the House Rabbit Society of Chicago so...

    Worried

Hello, I'm a little worried about my rabbit. As far as I can remember he has had this going on. He eats fine acts fine and behaves fine so I'm not sure if I need to worry. He has like pee on his butt and it matts his fur and stains it. I switched litters to yesterday's news but it's still...
