    Rabbits pics please post :)

These bunnies are all siblings. We had an accident and their momma had back to back litters. There are 4 in the first litter and only one in the second. Clearly the little guy is reaping the rewards of a doe with plentiful milk supply! We can't stop laughing at how chubby he is:) He is 10 days...

Doe is pulling fur 24 hours after kindling???

That's an interesting thought. With this baby, she is in there all the time. I rarely saw her attending the last litter. She dotes on this one and it shows! It is the fattest little thing ever!

Doe is pulling fur 24 hours after kindling???

THanks for the reassurance. That is exactly what she did. Last time her nest was huge before. This time it took her more time, but she has it all fluffed out now. Glad to hear that others have seen the same thing. Honestly, I fret over these little fur balls like I gave birth to them all!

Doe is pulling fur 24 hours after kindling???

I'm worried about my doe. She kindled yesterday. Three babies. Two died. THe survivor had a nice round belly this morning. I saw her in there with him an hour or so ago. Now she is pulling fur like crazy and sitting in the box. What is that all about?? Could there be more babies that she is not...

Need advice. Back to back litters:(

Whew. We made it over the major hurdle, as far as I was thinking. She definitely fed the surviving baby during the night. He's got a nice round belly:)

Need advice. Back to back litters:(

THanks to both of you. I separated the older ones from the doe yesterday. They are thriving and will hopefully stay that way. They eat constantly:) Keeping my fingers crossed that she attends her surviving baby. She cleaned them all. I'm hoping that's a good sign that she will switch to this...

Need advice. Back to back litters:(

I'm embarrassed to say that my doe kindled 3 babies today. She has a litter that is not quite 5 weeks old. She began nesting yesterday and was grabbing tufts of fur to build her nest with from her babies! I separated her from them when I saw what was happening. Two of the babies have died or...

Double Maned three day old lionhead babies?

Is this how a double maned baby looks at 3 days? I have two like this and two with even fur all over.

    New baby pics

Day three. Its amazing how they change. I feel like their hair grows by the hour! I was advised that single maned lion heads get all their fur evenly and double maned have naked sides at this point. I think I have 2 double maned? Let me know what you think.

    New baby pics

Thought I would share pics of the only litter my buns will have before they get fixed. I am completely infatuated with these rabbits and now their wee ones! Two days old and my son has picked his keeper. "I want the one with spots!" It will be a true miracle if only one baby remains with us. I...

    Show Me Your Nests!

Here is AnnaBelle's first nest. It is bigger than she is! I have to uncover to even see her babies. They are 2 days old:) The one with the writing on it is hilarious. This baby lion head has a teeny little strip of fuzz where his 'mane' is coming in before his other hair. His head is bald as a...

    Our first litter is coming!

Again, many thanks woahlookitsme. I think I should start a new thread regarding the babies. I have a lot to learn and to look forward to:) I will wait a bit and then get Oliver neutered. Maybe he will even freak out less when I clip his nails-one can hope! Pictures coming!
