    New babies (pics)

I would say no peanuts, the ears and hindquarters look too developed. I do think the one is a runt, as long as he is getting his share of milk he should be fine(: I've never had problems with losing runts In my experiences(:

    Small Breed Cage Dimensions?

I personally like square cages rather than long cages. I just use 24 x 24 for my Hollands, but if the 30 x 15 works for you then I would say go for it(:

    Blooming Angels Bunny Blog

It's been so long since I last posted on here! I decided I should do an update on some of my rabbits(: This is Miss hannibelle, she has grown up quite a bit since these last photos of her. She is a total sweetheart as well! Some of you may remember(probably not it's been so long) that I...

    Trouble feeling pellets and greens

I would try to add a tablespoon of pellets to their daily diet. Try that for about 3 days and if they dont have any runs try increasing the amount until they get the softer poop. They decrease it until it no longer occurs. You need to find the equilibrium to what they can consume. Its extremely...

    Toys?

Hi! I happened to come across this store when I was searching for chinchilla toys and I was wondering if any of these things could be given to rabbits as well. Store: http://www.whimsys-menagerie.com/storemainpage.htm Can you feed your rabbit things like loofah and pumice stone? I've never...

    outside and fleece?

I think a rabbit can live outside year long and be happy and perfectly healthy, granted I've only housed my rabbits in my house or outside in a temperature controlled barn(I spoil my rabbits). I think fleece could work but it would be additional work for you. I think using a type of wood pellet...

    What breed?please help!

Its hard to tell with out a side profile picture. She is going to be bigger, you can tell that by looking at her face, ears, bone and backfeet. However its hards to tell which breed she is. She could be a chinchilla (standard, american, giant) or she could be a light gray flemish Giant. Could...

    best pellet food?

Because your rabbit is not altered(and not use to it) I would not recommend using a feed with under 16%. I recommend -kent -manna pro -Purina Check your local feed store they carry the pellets most breeders tend to use. Tractor supply co carries Purina or manna pro-one of the two, I cant...

    Is this cage big enough?

Edit: Yes I know I'm not quoting directly from the HRS and that I don't have house rabbits but this cage still is big enough, Dutch's don't get very big this rabbit will be perfectly fine. The only thing I would worry about is as she develops more muscle she might jump out and have a little...

I have trouble keeping my rabbits in condition

I'm confused in one post you said you are trying to get them to lose weight and in another post you said they are underweight???:dunno For overweight rabbits: I believe you have holland lops. For show hollands 1/2 a cup is plenty. I feed just the 1/2 cup of plain pellets and timothy hay daily...

    Questions for Netherland Dwarf owners...

In most cases, Netherland Dwarfs tend to be laid back and pretty friendly however depending on the living situation with any rabbit it can make their temperament vary. For amount of space, netherlands don't need as much space as a Flemish Giant but they do need a fair amount of room. Here is a...

    Color ID request (picures involved)

She seems to be more of a broken black tort, is there something I'm missing? Chestnut agouti: Tort: (photos are not mine I got them from google images) EDIT: Oh, wait I see it now lol! She has the eye bands and ticking(it didnt seem as dark as it normally would) but it makes sense with...

Housing a un neutered baby and a neutered teen?

I would keep them separated. I had a buck born in October and he already is territorial. You dont want to wake up one day to find that the two rabbits had been in a big fight. I would do some prebonding sessions but leave them in their own enclosures.

    Questions for a breeder/exhibitor

Breeding question: As a newer breeder with Hollands lops I am constantly looking for ways to improve my herd, how did you go about establishing your herd? What type of toys do you provide for your rabbits (I know some breeders do bells and stuff like that- I currently only give toilet paper...
