Rescued bunny needs a home- London, UK

Firstly, apologies if this is the wrong place for this, was unsure if it belonged here on in the UK board- I posted this a couple of days ago about a bunny that I'd rescued locally. We had a visit to the vets today and it turns out that this bunny is a little boy! I’m not really...

Help! Rescued a baby bunny today- need urgent advice & opinions!

Thanks for your help- I've fed her some pellets and she seems to really like them. She's shoving as much food in her face as she can. Literally hoovering up hay like it's going out of fashion! She is very skinny, but I'll work on that gradually! The problem with the litter training is that I...

Help! Rescued a baby bunny today- need urgent advice & opinions!

Hello all, I'll keep this short as possible! Basically I was nosing around on Gumtree, curiosity got the better of me, and I saw a baby rabbit for sale. I could not scroll past it. It was a picture of a bunny in a plastic pet store cage OUTSIDE with no hay, no food, no water, in summer! I...

    DIY Bunny Tunnel

No problem! Yeah, Pip seems to like it more than tunnels he has to crouch and crawl through- I wasted so much money on small tunnels! :p

    DIY Bunny Tunnel

Hello all! Just a little post to share Pip's new bunny tunnel that I made yesterday. I was so annoyed that I couldn't find any cheap/ well made tunnels, and I've spent so much money on warren tunnels and cardboard tubes that seem to be just a bit too small! I noticed that he likes to...

    Travel Carriers for Bun?

We're staying over at my boyfriend's mum's house, I would set up a pen for him but the only problem is they have a cat. He'll be allowed to run around in a cat-free zone for a long time on Saturday night, but I don't think I could set up a pen for him because a) everything will be packed and b)...

    Travel Carriers for Bun?

Thanks for the tips guys :) I settled on one I managed to get for cheap on Gumtree yesterday, planning on selling it on after the move. It's a large cat/ small dog carrier. Only chose a large one because he has to stay over night in it. Let me know what you think of it :) I'll post how we got on...

    Travel Carriers for Bun?

Hi all! Just wondering if anyone can help me out a little, I'm struggling with this and quickly running out of time. Pip & I are moving to London at the end of the week, and I was just wondering how best to transport him? Just to give some more info, Pip will be in the car for about 6...

What have your buns destroyed lately?

    I didn't realise Pip was a ASOIAF fan. :p

How did you come up with your rabbit's names?

I named Pip after Pippin from the Lord of the Rings books. I met him at the breeders and he seemed like the most mischevious bunny. Other nicknames include 'Pipster / Pipples / Pippy / Stinky' :D

    2013 Cages You've Made

Woah! That is the starship enterprise of bunny hutches!!

    2013 Cages You've Made

We just finished Pip's condo! it's made from Safeco squares (same as NIC ones) except I had to order them from the only place that sells them in the UK. Complete cost of the cage, including all the wood and other materials is probably £120 but it was well worth it!! Building the new set up...

    Handling Issues / Smelly Bunny

Thanks! I think after a few more weeks of me trying he might finally learn to be nice when I'm holding him :)

    Handling Issues / Smelly Bunny

Hey, that's really helpful! Thanks! I'm hoping the vet will be able to answer all the silly questions I may have thought up by Sunday, but it's nice to have my mind put at ease for now! :D Thank you! x B

    Handling Issues / Smelly Bunny

Hi all, Wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on a few things. (Pip's almost 12 weeks old btw) 1. I'm having trouble being able to pick Pip up- when I went to collect him from the breeder a couple of weeks ago, she had no problem picking him up and carrying him around, I even held...

    Litter question

I just put a pile of wood pellet cat litter in the corner Pip uses, cover it with sawdust, then put a little bit of hay on top. Seems to do the trick- it keeps it from smelling anyway, and I clean it out every couple of days :) The cat litter was really cheap too- I got a big bag for £1.50, and...

Need help with sourcing bunny pen materials!

Thanks! Yeah, there's two there that are overlapping- They're both 3 panels long, and I've got another one in the garden that's still to be finished- it just gives me the flexibility of where Pip runs around. The plan is to be able to cable tie them together and make different shapes of run...
