    Pup + Vet = Chaos

My boy bun is really difficult to handle like that, too. I found the best thing I can do is wrap him in a light towel "burrito" style and placate him with Craisins. Just make sure Pup doesn't get overheated if you try that.

Concerned: 2 10-week old bucks in Allentown, Pa area

Hey everyone, My sister came across this ad when looking for a dog to adopt: http://allentown.craigslist.org/pet/4095941190.html I live in Philadelphia, and I can't drive to get these two. I also don't have the space for 2 more bunnies. Otherwise, they would be mine (but, separated). I am...

    Grieving for my rabbit

I lost my love bunny, Marilyn, in April, and it is still hard on my heart. I had her cremated, and I keep her cedar box on my dresser. I was lucky, because the vet made me a clay mold of her paw prints for me as a gift. I say hello to her every morning. She is my angel, and I love her. On...

    Cider vinegar

My buck loves ACV, my doe does not. I use it when I remember to, given my doe does not enjoy it. :( I use it myself as a health tonic, too. It's great for your skin. Can anyone else recommend any additional "supplements" that are known to be beneficial for rabbit health?

    Weirdest place you've found hay?

A water pitcher that is kept in the far end of my kitchen. It is is used to fill my Keurig coffee maker. The pitcher was clean except for a single, 2 inch piece of hay floating in the pitcher. It was discovered by my boyfriend while filling it to make coffee.

    Furminators

I have a brush made by Lixit which I got for $3.50 from Wag.com about 2 months ago, & it is no longer on the site. It has soft plastic bristles, and my rabbits like being brushed by it a lot. My one rabbit has short, fine hair, and my other has medium, silky hair, and it grooms both just fine...

    Furminators

That's a really good point, about the pulling. I have a lionhead & he has the typical undercoat, but his coat is very silky & I wouldn't want to hurt him. I am considering getting one, but I am also just considering getting a different type of brush. Either way, my rabbit hates brushing time.

oh, you brushed your rabbit once?

Oh wow, now that I have seen someone use one, I am definitely buying it! Also, your rabbit is very cute. :)

    Brushing tips?

Oh my gosh, my boy bunny is the same way. Thankfully, although he is wooly, the hair on his belly is somewhat short. I make sure to give him a papaya tablet every morning & night, along with a lot of hay, & so far (knock on wood), no wool block. However, if you find out a tip, I want to be the...

    Why do People do This?!

Honestly, I feel as committed to my pets as someone would to their children. How anyone can feel otherwise is confusing and unfamiliar to me, but I suppose that they just don't feel the same way I do, or see animals as creatures with individual personalities and intrinsic value, as I do. But, it...

My rabbit imitates me! I think?

Have you seen this website? http://language.rabbitspeak.com/rabbittalk_intro.html There is a section where the author mentions moving her mouth as her rabbit wiggles his/her nose, and they end up wiggling in unison! Maybe it is something like that? I have seen my boy bunny do some silly...
