    Cleaning Tools... Help!

Hey Everyone! It's been a while since I've been actively on here, hope everyone is doing well! I love seeing all the bunny faces. Recently I have moved back home after a not so nice break up... luckily a friend took my adorable English Lop as well as my Lionhead. Due to house hold allergies...

Bigger litter box = Bigger mess

My adorable (but bratty) Lionhead, Chive, LOVES to dig in her litter pan! The mess was driving me insane.... it would be over the entire room.... This litter pan saved my sanity haha! It works great to stop her from digging, and most of the pee sifts down into the bottom so she isn't sitting on...

    What are rabbits, to you?

    Rabbits are.... quite the characters!

    Rubbermaid Bin Rescue!

Thanks everyone! I definitely agree that children should NOT be the main care giver of animals... not until they can afford them on their own! Thats how it was in my family. Now I am the crazy animal lady at 24yrs old haha! I am just glad I got there in time.

    Rubbermaid Bin Rescue!

I agree! And thanks. I also called the SPCA on them because they had a severely matted dog, and a Budgie in the smallest, dirtiest cage I'd ever seen! They got a fine, and they will be checked up on in a month to see if they made any changes.

    Rubbermaid Bin Rescue!

Meet Rudy! :biggrin2: Rudy is an adult Male Skinny Pig. He is approximately 1/5 years old, according to my vet. Rudy was found outside on someone's porch in a Rubbermaid bin, it was -1 celsius, and had rained the previous day. Poor Rudy was sitting in about 1" of freezing cold water! Luckily I...

    Thumping...all the time...

That is a great idea! Thanks  Maybe I will invite them over to meet Murphy next time I bring him outside. He is a pretty personable bun!

    Thumping...all the time...

He has been with me indoors probably 2-4 months.... I've had him his whole life. I am hoping it is an adjustment thing, and that neutering helps! I don't know what else to do... he is in a spare room along with my small geckos, which he could care less about (one jumped in his cage a few weeks...

    Thumping...all the time...

Hmm... nothing has changed in the past few months! He hasn't been with me long, maybe 2 months. Sometimes he is fine, and sometimes he thumps for days on end! Unfortunately he is upstairs, and our floors are wood...so it echos like mad! I might look into an alternative flooring, thanks.

    Thumping...all the time...

I need serious help.... ugh... So my 7yr old Male, un-neutered, Holland Lop recently moved in with me. His whole life was spent outside, until he moved in with me. He seems to have adjusted fine, except he goes on thumping spurts!!!! He thumped ALL day today... and is still thumping and it is...

    Soon to be bunny mama

What an awesome cage!! And a cute bunny too :) I would put the mesh on the outside, or even get more grids and just over lap them so the spacing is smaller.

    Washing Machine

I use a a mesh bag designed for clothes! You put the blanket in it, and throw it into the washer. When you take the blanket out, the netting catches all the hay and litter. Then it isn't stuck in the washer!

    Outdoor buns in canadian summer?

Hello! I've had two rabbits live outdoors! Murphy lived outdoors from 4 months up until he was 7yrs (Then he moved into my house, I don't have enough outdoor space for him), and my sisters rabbit lived outdoors for 8 years! We kept them in a heated garage in the winters, and then they had large...

    Bunnies are Expensive!!!

I actually find my new puppy more expensive than my two rabbits! The first year for a puppy is ridiculous... I've spent TONS on vet bills. 200$ for his first visit, 140$ for the second and 100$ for the third! Plus he has one more set of shots to go, and his neutering which will be around...

    Rabbit/Cat relationship question

I don't really have an opinion! Haha. But thats far too cute! Whats your cat's energy/personality like? I know my one dog prefers older dogs that ignore her, or pay little attention to her. And she really dislikes dog's that are too energetic. Maybe Sophie is similar.

Bonding: Neutered Male to Unaltered Female?

Thanks for the replies! :) When I get Murphy fixed, I will probably keep them separated for a few months, as I did know that he can still be fertile for a while after a neutering. I was hoping to avoid getting her fixed, as she has a sensitivity to anesthesia.... and could possibly not make it...

Bonding: Neutered Male to Unaltered Female?

Hello! I am hoping to get my Holland Lop, Murphy, neutered soon. And am wondering if it is possible to bond him to my unaltered Female, Chive. I know it might take a lot of work, but I am willing to give it a shot if it can be done.

    New puppy??

I definitely think this depends on the breed of puppy and the Bunnies you have! My one dog wants to KILL my Rabbits. She is a hound mix, so it's her breed that really takes control. Even though we socialized her with small animals when she was a pup, she's ALWAYS had her prey drive. Where as...
