    Goodbye Callaway

Callaway passed on this morning at the wee early hours. I checked on him at 3:30 am since he had been acting off yesterday. I'm not sure what happened but I feel like I am to blame for it. He ate half his pellets in the am and retreated to sleep in his favorite corner which isn't unusual for...

Unusual bald spots under my rabbit's chin!!??!

I don't have an answer as I logged on to ask the same question! I've noticed it for awhile on my lop but I originally attributed to rubbing on his water dish or flea medication. As I was snuggling with him tonight, I noticed the area has gotten much bigger and overall the fur around his neck is...

    What did you do today?

My day was awful! The humans tricked me into a tiny dark box right after I ate my foods. Then they put my in a big big box that they sit in too. It is way to loud. I had to sit I. My litter box all day. I hate it. I can't eat or drink or even potty because I so scared. We do this a lot. When...

    Hair loss

These are the best I can do. I tried to upload the video but I can't figure it out. So here are the best screen shots I can get. I can try propping it up but he sometimes drinks from his bowl normal so he'd be rubbing the sides of the bowl anyways. But it's worth a shot. Maybe he'll make a...

    Hair loss

Hey RO. I noticed the other day that Callaway (indoor male holland lop) has lost all of the hair on his upper chest (his neck I guess). He has hair on his chin but where his head sits on his chest, the hair is gone. I hope that makes sense. He is not one to be held so I can't take a picture...

I don't know what to do with my litter box

My mommy hangs hay high above my litter box so I pee and poo while I eat my hay :) when I feel like being naughty I knock my hay down and pee of the side of my litter box. Mommy just hangs it back up and I go about my business. Ive still got all my man parts btw.

    The Journey with Callaway

It's been awhile :). I've seen two seizures since the last post so hopefully something is "correcting" itself and they fade out completely. I haven't really got any updates. He is still quite the little stinker. He has sort of gotten back on track with his litter habits. I think the cause of...

Traveling long distances with a bunny

We make 12 hour drives periodically with callaway. We put towels in the back seat, put his litter box and water bowl along with a toy we always keep in his cage but never plays with for familiarity. We put his hay bucket thingy in his litter box. Generally he stays in his litter box the entire...

You have got to be kidding!

My humans have contemplated this but they know better! Give em the bunny butt and feet flicker. Then make a mess. That'll show em!

    Christmas trees

So we set up our tree. It's a Douglas fir. We had a similar tree last year but wasn't an issue. Mr. Callaway has taken to eating the pine needles. I love that his breath is pine fresh but concerned. Is it okay if he eats them? I can trim them up so he can't reach them but the tree would look...

Does anyone own a bun thats not fixed?

We have a 2 year old holland lop male who isn't fixed due to medical reasons. He is loveable. He has his own little temperament like a teenager but we have not had any issues with aggressiveness or territory. He did go through a I want to hump your leg and arm phase but no longer does it.

    Seizure!!!

I have been reading this thread as my bun experiences seizures regularly (as in at least 2-3 times per month). I thought id finally respond. We went through the vet visits , medicines, and it's still unexplained. He does not have a head tilt or any other symptom. Just the seizures. The vet...

Someone got into his food bin today

Buns are some smart little creatures. Yeah, for callaway it's to eat. Haha. I think pellets are his form of crack. Goes completely crazy when it's feeding time. Then basically inhales it. Fun to watch though. :) glad he isn't the only one getting into closed food bins.

Someone got into his food bin today

He doesn't climb on ANYTHING unless food is involved :p

Someone got into his food bin today

I think someone's a little mad his daddy didn't give him pellets. He nosed his greens this morning. He knows something's up :p

Someone got into his food bin today

So, we keep callaways food in a Rubbermaid container with a latched lid on the floor next to his cage. He tries to get in it all the time. He did so once a few months ago because hubby admittedly left the box unlatched. He has made sure its latched ever since. So my fiancé gets home from work...
