    Interacting with new addition

Last week I brought a new addition home, an 8 week old tabby kitten. Since the rabbit cage is in the living room the interaction between the two was pretty much immediate. Babs (the bunny) didnt seem fearful but she was very curious. The kitten was a tad nervous and didnt approach the cage very...

    Lionhead as a pet?

Well another lionhead review from an owner here... mine is NOT fond of being held, wont let you walk up to her either, its more her coming up to me when she wants to. She isnt afraid of much, not even the vacuum. She sheds like the dickens and she is quite the escape artist. She is housed...

    Its been awhile

I havent been on the page in awhile, thought I would come on and give everyone a little update. Ollie passed away suddenly a couple weeks ago. Not sure exactly what the cause was, I just hope he didnt suffer. I have a couple new pictures of Babs AKA Buster (I still call him Babs even though...

    She's a He...

Buster (so weird to call him that now lol) actually mounted Ollie yesterday and thats what made me check (even though I know females do this too) and his little weenie was sticking out so far... I never got around to confirming he was female just because he hates being picked up, and I trusted...

    She's a He...

Well Babs is now Buster... was told when I bought her she was female, but I checked today and he is definately male... oh well I guess..

    A lion and a lop... Tucker&GusGus

The lops name is Ollie, he is only 9 weeks old, the lionhead is Babs, she is about 3 1/2 months old. They are inseperable when out of their cages, which they wont be able to play together for much longer until they get spayed and nuetered, sad, but hopefully they will bond again later!

    A lion and a lop... Tucker&GusGus

I have a lion and a lop too, they make a great combo haha! Tucker and GusGus are adorbs, I had a mouse named Gus Gus once, he was too cute to feed to the snake so I kept him as a pet lol That was a long time ago though, no more reptiles for me!

    Bunny photoshoot

Super cute! My buns wouldnt give me the 2 seconds it takes to back up and push the button on the camera before jumping out, so I say you did a pretty darn good job with these!

    Apartment bunnies-weigh in!

I live in an apartment, they have access to the whole thing besides the bedrooms (I close the doors) they stay out of the kitchen and bathroom however because its tile floor and they dont like slipping around. One of there favorite things to do is sit by the patio doors to the balcony and look...

    C&C Cage help?

With my lionhead she wasnt even litterbox trained before I moved her to her NIC cage, its a 3grid by 2 grid, I used an indoor/outdoor mat and just turned it over so the rubber side was up. I made the piece bigger than the cage itself so it has about 4 inches out each side just incase she wouldnt...

Funny questions you get as a bunny owner

I get a lot of "Im gonna cook your wabbits" and "Hopefully Elmer doesnt come over" and I just reply, go ahead and try to cook my rabbits cuz they'll scratch the *bleep* outta you if you try to pick them up! lol

    Little Video of the buns

I took a short video of Ollie and Babs today. I cant believe the difference putting Ollies cage next to Babs cage would make. He has started eating (HOORAY) they get along just fine outside their cages for some roam time. I was a bit worried about letting that happen, but it seems like Ollie...

Wild cotton tail 5 weeks old

If this is the route you take, please look up your states laws on the matter. I know in Minnesota where I live, it is illegal to take any animal from the wild and keep it in captivity. I think I tell this to people several times each summer because they want to take bunnies, squirrels and birds...

Ollie has arrived, have a question

The new little guy is very frightened, I havent seen him move much or eat much. He is drinking water at this point, whenever Babs is around however he perks right up and fallows her around from inside the cage to wherever she is at in the livingroom. If I am close to the cage or in there...
