I know this is a very old post but this is what happened to me just a few short minutes ago and scared the crud out of me. Rosie (almost 7 wks old) was eating some pellets and then upchucked/ choked it up through her both. She literally had her head high in the air and used her hands to her...

    3 week old babies

Hello :) I just noticed today that two of my little baby buns have soft stools. One has just little soft ones but speedy had a clump stuck on his bum the size of a penny. Is this normal cause they are switching over to eating pellets and hay. They've nibbled on hay since week 1 and week 2 they...

    Bedding

When we first got our buns we just used newspaper but that gets pretty moldy fast. We now liter train then and use the care fresh stuff. Puppy pads are cotton right? ( been awhile since I used one of those lol) I know cotton is safe to use with buns as I had to use some in the nesting for my...

I was browsing craigslist and saw this!

Oooh I've seen those on craigslist also, and other varieties where you can add more to them or add a top and so on. But that one there is definitely more suited for some guinea pigs. I hope to buy some of the organizers to make a nice play pen area for my buns sometime :)

    Baby bunny eating pooh?

My little baby buns literally love jumping into the poop box to nosh on some of moms brownies lol they go crazy over them. At least now they can make it into the box where before they kind of were running dead smack into it haha. Never a dull day with baby bunnies eh :P

    Soft poop and messy feet

Have you introduced any new veggies? That can sometimes change their poop to soft poop or too much of a veggie or pellets. I've noticed when my buns have had more of those two their poop is softer. You could cut back a little on those and do more hay and see if that helps.

    Help please - RIP

Whoa.. and thank you so much! I was wondering if there is a way to report someone, but hadn't looked into it yet. She said she got a sick bunny from someone else and it made her bunnies sick and that she cleaned it all up and bleached things and thought it was gone. IDK I am getting so many...

    Help please - RIP

Sadly she passed early this morning. Yeah we do not have any emergency vets so we had planned on taking her early this morning but we awoke to her passing. I let the breeder know and she tried to give me a 3 week old bunny to replace it 0.o I told her that that is way too young and she needs to...

Thanks, I hope so too. I forgot to mention there is also a horendous smell. At first I couldn't place it.. but now I remember where I have smelt it before. Long time ago I had a hamster that had wet tail and that is exactly how his poops smelled and I had to nurse him back to health. I went to...

    Help please - RIP

I just got a bunny today and the lady said she had to wash it cause it had poop all over it. Which of course sent up red flags to me. Well she said this to hubs as I was down stairs doing laundry. Said it had been eating the cedar chips and that they gave it tetracyclin for it. It just pooped a...

Sleeping with your rabbit? Has anyone done it?

We have two dogs who I adore but would not trust them unsupervised at night with the buns out so they sleep safely in their cages. Though since Rocky passed I have Delilah's cage on our bed up against the wall.. one big bun cage and two dogs and hubs and I on the bed haha. She got very sick...

Thanks, Delilah has a clean bill of health. I was up all night with her last night as she was not eating much. She is finally eating better and hopping around more. Last night she would just stay in their spot and would flip around :( I kept taking her out and just held her and talked to her and...
