    Showing Rabbits?

Hi, I was wondering. In a youth show, what will I have to do? I know in the 4-H you have to pose them and all. But what about in the regular youth ARBA shows? Do you have to pose them?, or do the judge look at them and pose them themselves? Are there any of the points you get (like how good...

    Rabbits + Paint??

@james waller. That doesn't sound right AT ALL!!. I know Ceder shavings are a big no, no, because ceder mixed with rabbit urine is very toxic and deadly. Anyways, I've always used pine with my buns and I dont know anybody that dosent use some sort of wood with their rabbits. Sorry, I just wanted...

Hello, I'm Ant and I'm a bad rabbit father :-(

@PaGal. I highly disagree with that statement. Sure they need plenty of veggies, pellets, and hay, with the occasional fruit, but I feed my buns treats all the time and there is NO runny stool, or any un-healthy signs!!

Hello, I'm Ant and I'm a bad rabbit father :-(

My bunny L.O.V.E.S yogurt drops. But I don't think they are very good to wear down the teeth. I would not rely on just the yogurt drops to wear down the teeth :wink

Hello, I'm Ant and I'm a bad rabbit father :-(

@michelledickerhoff. The salt wheels are VERY good for your rabbit, and is also a tasty treat. But I wouldn't say he NEEDS it, but the rabbit definantly would like it. My bun, Digby, ignored his salt wheel too, but I'm gonna keep trying. My bun has never had any dental problems because there...

    Rabbits + Paint??

I am wondering, is there any type of paint that would be safe to use on my rabbits wooden nesting boxes? It's not necessary, I just think it would be neat/cute to paint the outside of the hutch with the same pattern and color as the stuff inside the hutch. Even some sort of stain that would make...

    Any other Holland Lop enthusiasts?

Yep, they are very adorable, and very sweet little rabbits to keep, and show. They are a very good rabbit breed for beginners and if they are bredd right, with two touches they will go into the right pose!

    Digby

Digby is a roughly 6 month old, un-pedigreed, pet, Mini Lop. He is very sweet and will let you pet him, but he wont let you hold him, but he will sniff at your head and give you a "kiss" when you lean your head down :) He is an outdoor rabbit, and loves to get out in an outdoor run to get fresh...
