    Poop Issue -- ISC?

Hello everyone, Haven't been on in a while because everything with my bunny Einstein had been going well! Recently we had moved, and one of our biggest concerns was hoping that Einstein would adjust to such a drastic change. Earlier today, we discovered clumped, wet stool in his pen. When we...

    Bonding Questions!

Hello all! So it's been nearly a month since Einstein was neutered, and he is doing great! He actually seems a lot more happier than he was before the neutering! I've come up with a future plan for Einstein, one that I've given A LOT of time thinking about and researching: I plan to bond...

    Tomorrow is the big day!

Update. Today Einstein is more alert still in a little bit of pain. He is eating a little bit more. Drinking a little bit. I gave him his first dose of Metacam which he loved. One thing I am worried about is he is pooping, but they are small and hard. Some are strong connected together. I am...

    Tomorrow is the big day!

Thank you everyone! Einstein is getting better, he is moving around his pen but then he is going back to his spot and sit there. He is eating a little pieces of hay but I am worried that he is not drinking. How should I encourage drinking? The water is in a bowl not a water bottle.

    Tomorrow is the big day!

Hey guys! I just wanted to say that Einstein is back home after his surgery. Everything went well and the vet sent us home with a 2 day Metacam dosage. Right now Einstein seems a little out of it. I think it is because he was stressed but it should get better soon. Is there anything...

    Tomorrow is the big day!

Hello everyone, Tomorrow is the big day! Einstein is getting neutered. I am TERRIFIED, but I know it has to happen. I just have a few newbie questions: 1.) What should I expect when I bring him home? (i.e behaviorally) 2.) How soon should the behaviors such as charging, nipping, missing...

    snip....snip...

Hello! I spoke with the vet today as well and I was saying that they want me to leave Einstein there most of the day so they are able to monitor him and feed him and give him water to make sure he is okay :D

    snip....snip...

I use woodstove pellets for his litterbox, should I continue to use the pellets for litter or should I start using carefresh? Im nervous about both, I am nervous about pellets because it will be too rough for the site and i'm nervous for the carefresh because it will stick to the site. Also...

    snip....snip...

It's time everyone...... I made the appointment for Einstein to get neutered on March 30th! I am excited for this to happen but I am VERY nervous. I do trust the vet. He is very knowledgeable and knows rabbits. For directions I have to drop Einstein off between 8:00am-8:30am and bring some...

    Decreased eating...

When we went to the vet a couple months ago he said that his teeth were fine. How will I know if they are not ? I usually just feed him romaine lettuce and sometimes cilantro and parsley. Once in a while i see maybe 3 poop connected together but not all the time.

    Decreased eating...

Hey guys, I am a little concerned. Einstein seems to have slowed down his eating, to where it scares me. Usually I feed him 1/4 cups of pellets in the morning and greens at night and of course unlimited supply of timothy hay all the time. Whats worrying me is that usually when I give him his...

    Holiday

Hey guys! I am wondering, since the holidays are right around the corner I would like to treat Einstein to some gifts. I really don't know what to get him. He is not a big chewer, he doesn't like to chew cardboard or wood chews. He eats hay. He LOVES fruit especially apple. I am at kind of a...

    Odd behavior?

Hey guys! Einstein has been acting weird as of late. Nothing bad. Just odd. He has this thing where he will thump early in the morning, spaz out, do a binky and then thumps again and he is done, he does the same thing in the evening. What could be the cause of this? I know hes not scared...

    Holland Lop or Lionhead?

On someone who loved both Lionheads AND Lops. I have a Lionead right now. He is small about 3 lbs. He is very active and doesn't bite at all and is not skittish. The only drawback is you need to brush a Lionhead often so they dont become matted.

    Feeding question

I find out that Einstein eats his pellets throughout the day instead of eating it all at once. What is the recommended dose for a 3lbs rabbit?
