That's so strange, but you're right!! I just tried for a brief moment this morning, and he did lick my hand. He didn't lick it for long though. It's so weird and adorable at the same time. haha. I'm just happy it doesn't seem to bother him.

I don't have any suggestions for a plastic fencing, but I bought a rug, cut tiny holes, and zip tied my xpen to the rug. I had to relocate a bit, so it's no longer zip tied, but they never moved it while it was zip tied. Just a suggestion.
