Hi guys! I haven't been on here for such a long time!! So thought I'd give you an update! Well Buckley and Bella are now fully bonded and have been living together for 3 weeks now :) They used to fight when I'd try to bond them so a rabbit mad woman on a rabbit Facebook group offered to help...

You can make dig boxes! All my bunnies love them, get a big plastic box and fill it with compost/soil and your bunny with love it! My bunnies dig in it then roll around in it! They love it, i have also just got another digging box for them and planted herbs in it, all the herbs are now grown (i...

    Multiple Hutch Ideas Needed

I wouldn't put the unspayed female next to unneutered males with just mesh as they could easily mate through the mesh. Sorry i don't know how you'd be able to make a multiple hutch.

That's why I said in a previous post that heat would be the problem about living in America with outdoor rabbits.

Bonding a large group, advice please!

My trio of females are aged 4 and two 2 year olds. They're mother and daughters. They have all lived together for 2 years, and are together 24/7. I am on this Facebook group for rabbits and a woman has a group of 7 bunnies, with 1 male thats neutered but the girls aren't and they have all been...

Bonding a large group, advice please!

I have a trio of unspayed females and they have a great bond. My 2 single bunnies Buckley and Bella are neutered and spayed and are nearly bonded (I broke their bond a few months ago but it's nearly fixed!). Buckley usually has free roam often garden and my trio always groom him through the...

I am curious about the possibility of owning ferrets and rabbits in the same house

It's a myth that feeding any meat eating animal raw meat will cause them to become aggressive.

You can't say that a rabbit being outdoors would be ignored. My 5 rabbits are outdoors and are not ignored at all. Not everyone that has outdoor bunnies is going to just stick them in a small hutch at the back of the garden and forget about them.

    Holland lop with regular ears?

He looks far too big for a mini or holland lop IMO.

    Feeding

Barley rings are good treats for bunnies and baby bunnies can have them too, but they're quite fattening so try not to feed a lot! My bunnies love them! Rabbits don't really need fruit in their diet so I would add fruit at all IMO.

    Parents and your bunnies

I'm 17 so still live at home but the rabbits are mine. My mum will help me out if I need it but she doesn't really love them or go and play with them like she does with our cats and dogs. My dad just builds stuff for them for me but he doesn't love them like me either. My mum has never fed them...

It is better to have a run attached to the hutch at all times so the rabbit can decide if they want to go out or not, rather than you putting them out even if they don't want to. Outdoor rabbits can get fly strike if not cleaned out enough or if they get a dirty bottom from being fed the wrong...

    Hutch

The one you posted is just over 4ft in length so the bed area is only 2ft in length and I personally wouldn't put a bunny in such a smal hutch. I think that is really expensive for what you are getting too. I build my bunnies a huge 12ft x 6 ft x 5.5 ft run and a 5ft hutch all for £130, I don't...

    Cage

I use wood pellets in my bunnies litter trays. It's really good and doesn't get everywhere and it soaks the pee up well :)
