    Taking Fawn to the Vet

It's kindof orangy red, thus we're not too surewhat it is. Can anyone think of any other illness this could be asymptom of? Just so we can be sure to cover all the bases tomorrow. Thanks for the well wishes :)

    Taking Fawn to the Vet

We are taking Fawn to the vet tomorrow, we'vedecided that the dark stains on her phonebook (where she lounges mostof the day) are not from her sorehocks, as those are healing quite welland haven't bled in a few weeks. We are thus assuming that she must bebleeding from her hindquarters, although...

To go or Not to the Vet?

*sigh* It's Fawn (isn't it always :? ) forawhile now we've noticed dark markings on the phonebook where shelounges most of the day, and in the past we assumed it was from hersore hocks (being a rex and predisposed to them). But lately we've been keeping a very close eye on her, and I...

    Does your bunny pout --

When we went away in January, Fawn mauled thepoor friend that was coming over to feed the buns. He said "well, shekept grunting at me...I didn't know what it meant...but she wasfighting with me for the food bowl and she bit me!" poor guy still has a scar, and he wouldn't let me pay him because...

    bunny rubs

Anywhere from the nose to the back of the neck, including the ears. They don't like having their bodies pet (my theoryis that they associate it with our grooming them and they don't likeit) Ours don't like any petting during playtime unless they come begfor it or lay down fro a break and you...

Our buns have both been fixed for over twoyears, and I swear every other night one of them is mounting the otherat either the front or back end. I am guessing that they'll keep onlike this forever. The girl is dominant, but the boy still wants tohave his fun I suppose. :) not really sure why...

    Foot problem

have you looked at the bottom of his feet tocheck for sore hocks? he could be turning it to try to keep pressureoff the pads of his feet, and rexs (as we are unfortunately well awareof at my house) are prone to sore hocks :( I really don't know beyond that, but there are many here who are...

    Is My Bunny Deaf?

also, watch for visual clues from his ears, if the ears or an ear turns towards you when you make a sound, then he is probably hearing you. I would wait til he's kinda dozing and then make some sort of noise he should recognize: talk in the tone you normally use with him, shake a treat bag...

I feared this day would come

We have a doe and a buck, and the doe is the onewho does most of the mounting. But they are both fixed and have beenfor a long time, so it's just a dominance thing with them. I'd saythought that there is a good chance she's just being dominant.
