    Looking for eye problem advice

We still have no idea what has happened unfortunately :( Everything at the back of her eye is fine and normal and her eye pressure is still normal. The blood has settled down the bottom and there is a small cluster of pale goo which is apparently caused by inflammation. Generally inflammation...

Well we have a specialist appointment in a few hours, fingers crossed I can afford the bill at the end and that she comes home with the best news possible

    Looking for eye problem advice

Thank you, that eases my mind a little! The more I read about eye problems online the more I worry! I haven't had a good night's sleep since I noticed her eye. I think I'll just have to find the money and make the appointment so I can rest!

    Looking for eye problem advice

I might also mention that her other eye is blue and perfectly fine. The eye with the blood is normally blue at the bottom but a dark grey colour up the top. Her eye was always like that so I assumed it was normal, but could this indicate a more serious problem?

    Looking for eye problem advice

Hi guys, thankfully I haven't needed to post here for quite a while!! I was away on holiday last week with a house sitter looking after my rabbits. When I came home I noticed Cleos eye was dark with a red tinge. I panicked and booked her a vet appointment with the unusual pet vets here in...

    Bald Spots

Well she doesn't like the brush so it's hard to tell!! Lol she clearly wasn't brushed when she was younger and dumped because of her high maintenance coat, I'm trying to get her used to it but she just buries her head behind my leg. Don't even get me started on brushing the knots out from under...

    Bald Spots

Wow, never thought I'd find someone else from Perth!! Her skin looks normal, no sign of parasites, flaking, itching or redness. I just really want to brush all that loose fur out and thin out her coat but I'm terrified that I'm just pulling her fur out  This is her bald spot and...

    Bald Spots

I have been brushing my girl a lot lately as it is summer here and she has a very thick coat. To my horror I found a large bald spot down her back last night. Looking at her normally you can't see it because her long hair covers it. I'm not sure if I should be worried or if she is moulting...

Bald spot on the middle of the back

Im pretty sure it is Bambi pulling her hair out when he mounts, I'm just not sure what I can do to stop it? I don't want to separate them because they are bonded but I'm sure it can't be nice for her. I am wondering whether I should be concerned about his sudden interest in mounting again.

Bald spot on the middle of the back

The skin looks normal, it just looks like she has been shaved. It's not red or inflamed and she isn't paying any attention to it. It is exactly where Bambi puts his head when he mounts so I assume it is from the mounting. She has no spots any where else.

Bald spot on the middle of the back

I have a pair of bonded bunnies, my princess Cleo and my little prince Bambi. They are both neutered and have been living happily for...almost a year now? Recently I have noticed Bambi has began mounting again and Cleo has been running away from him. Just the other day I noticed a bald spot on...

    Irregular Droppings

She doesn't seem to be shedding any more than usual, and I have recently acquired a furminator so I wouldn't expect it to be fur but anything is possible. I gave her little tummy a rub but she just decided to have a dig in my lap which I'm fairly sure means she is irritated lol the poor love. I...

    Irregular Droppings

I have just separated her from Bambi in a pen downstairs where I can see her. She has a seperate litter tray, some pellets, hay, greens and water, a blankie and a box to hide in.

    Irregular Droppings

I have two buns, Bambi and Cleo. I have noticed recently that some of their droppings are dark and smaller than normal. I am not 100% sure whose droppings are irregular but I am fairly sure it's Cleo as she hasn't had much of an appetite lately. Obviously I know these droppings aren't a good...

    Rabbit Kongs?

So I ended up getting an extreme puppy kong for them, I have only let them have it when I'm sitting on the floor with them. Cleo loves it ^_^ Neither have tried to chew it at all, they just lick and pull the fruit from inside. Bambi mostly nudges it around with his nose. It's totally unnecessary...

    Rabbit Kongs?

Yea it says same durable rubber or whatever, but kongs come in a few 'stages' of durability. I'm not desperate to try or anything, I just know my girl would go nuts if I stuffed it with mashed banana =P They extreme black ones do come in puppy sizes and my two aren't manic chewers either. If I...

    Rabbit Kongs?

Yea I actually work at a pet supply store, we have loads of kongs for cats and dogs, I didn't know you could get rabbit ones that's all. Are they all made of the same rubber? I would just want to be sure buying a puppy kong would be the same as buying a small rabbit kong

    Rabbit Kongs?

So I was looking online for enrichment items for a rabbit care sheet I was doing at school and I came across Kongs for small animals http://www.kongcompany.com/products/for-dogs/rubber-toys/small-animal-kong/small-animal-kong/ You can't buy them here in Australia so forgive me if this is common...

    Sudden increase in chewing

No I don't think so, every thing is fairly normal apart from the extra chewing, not sure if he is just a little bored due to the weather being bad so they are cooped up inside
