    Buns favorite toys?

The cardboard tubes full of hay are a good hit for Attila. The girls like the treat balls I make - cardboard tubes cute into ringlets, slid over each other to make a ball. Right before the last ring to cover the last bit of space, I toss in raisins or whatever. They especially like playing Keep...

Can't tell apart my 2 does!

Tattooing actually really isn't a bad thing. I am sure OakRidge meant the ear. This is a great idea in general, and it's usually done while they're out during spaying (I believe).

Bunny bites yet lays next to his Frenemy

It could be a mixture of hormones? I honestly can't tell you why he does that... As for neutering - my bun is in right now for that. He is a super placid bunny, really chill. I honestly don't think it'll change much, except that he won't be able to impregnate any unfixed girls he comes across...

    Traveling with your Bunny

As an addition to the food bowls, if they're the bird ones, use some zip ties to latch them on if your bunny likes to 'rearrange' things. All of mine do, and to save myself the headache of cleaning up pellets and water I zip-tie them on. I can wriggle them out and back in, but they can't.

Tips on keeping poop off the ground?

Sometimes the pellets just fall out. My one bun is very good at not even marking with pellets, but they'll come out of the litter box when he hops in or out. Having taller sides will really help.

DIY Toys or Shop bought toys?

Legit, get a nice box without staples, cut open a hole big enough for your bun(s) to squeeze through, and let them go at it. My bunnies will dig out the bottom and make brand new doors and windows, and then I flip it over onto it's top so they can do it all over again. Doubles as a shelter. I...

Normal for rabbit to lunge at toy?

For the wriggling, I think it depends on the rabbits. When my girls are eyeing up whatever is in my hand - treat or toy - I find that if I wriggle it a bit they're more like to come over and grab it than if I sat perfectly still. I think that might also be because they are sizing me up for...

    Homemade bunny toys!

When I'm lazy and out of treat balls (I usually make several at a time), I will take a toilet paper tube, squoosh the ends in to make flaps at one end, shove it full of hay, treats, and/or food, and squoosh the other ends in. The hay tends to still stick out and it's not as pretty as the balls...

    Toys Toys!

http://www.petland.ca/small-animal/accessories/oxbow-timothy-bungalo-available-in-2-sizes.html -- this is a bungalo that is like the hay mats. They like them too, but they never go inside. Just rip them apart from inside out and then lay on the scraps afterwards. I couldn't find a mat. Ohh...

    Toys Toys!

It looks like that rolled cardboard you'd find around napkins, when you work at food places. I found that all my bunnies preferred the cardboard treat balls and tubes over any toy I could possibly buy - except for those hay mats. Often they'd lay and rip those up.

What have your buns destroyed lately?

Oh my god I am so glad that my girls are just fine in their room! Mind you, it is my art room - they've chewed a hole through a very expensive piece of paper (it was $7 a sheet...), peed all over the carpet, destroyed foam mats, torn holes into the tarp, and chewed on the vacuum cord. The vacuum...

    Calgary, AB

Unfortunately, things have been changing for my life, and I cannot keep up with the bunnies, no matter how I try, and as school looms, I know it will get much worse. The girls are shy but they have never bit or scratched (on purpose - I got nipped a few times as they were taking tinier...

    Found Bunny (Calgary AB)

Unfortunately, the rabbits hate the carriers (and being handled) so I deal with the price. It's just not worth it to take a bus for over an hour when there's a very good clinic within a few minutes of me. I have never had a bad experience with them so.. yes. Yeah, he's been eating a lot...

    Found Bunny (Calgary AB)

He was found near the Forest Lawn community (Rundle station I think?). I'm keeping him apart from the others until everything's solved, so probably late September when we start bonding. Until then, I feed/interact with my two girls first before I meet with him, and always wash my hands after...

    Found Bunny (Calgary AB)

Hey all. My aunt and uncle found a bunny being attacked by a cat. They saved her and gave her to me to take care of. She has some small scratches on her nose and apparently lacks fur on her hind feet (I haven't inspected her, preferring to leave her alone for now). She's also incredibly tame...

    Calgary bunny boarding??

I hope you find someone! I wish I could offer my services, but I have a bachelour suite and it's not super awesome for more than myself and my buns.

    Favorite Rabbit Trait

Ahh I love the dead-flop. It took several months before the buns were comfortable enough to do it around me, so every time I see it I'm reminded that we've come so far! Also, the way that they tuck their feet up and look like pillows with ears!
