watch her closely, limit access when you cant and you can always buy plexiglass sheets to attach to any walla in the room she is in and then there's no way she can chew them.

It's not that they can't chew them.. of course they can!! The reason we use them so much is they don't have strings that can wrap around the intestines and such.

Mine are inside in full a/c so i don't think heat has anything to do with mine.

I had a blind dog once. The best advice i can give you is watch out for pointy corners, pad as much as you can and put food/water against a solid object so they are harder to knock over. Try not to change anything around as he will eventually learn his area by feel and smell
