Name this move....it's not a binky...not sure what to call it

I'm also a fan of the bunnyloaf and the sphinx. Sherbotsky did kind of a buck like that last night that I have only seen a few times, but it is adorable! Other classic poses for my bun include the superbunny (both front and back legs stretched out with her head resting on her feet) and a mixture...

    Frozen lettuce

Sooo, somehow I put the bag of romaine lettuce into the freezer last night instead of the fridge and now the lettuce is completely frozen. I set it out on the counter so it's watery and soggy now. I'm wondering if I can still feed it to my rabbit?

    HELP! Won't stop thumping!

Good news! After covering her hutch and leaving her alone for a bit Sherbotsky has calmed down and is now happily stretched out in the living room (opposite side of house from her room)!!! Her thumping gradually got softer and less frequent and she eventually came out of her cage on her own and...

    HELP! Won't stop thumping!

Covered her hutch and rubbed her neck and nose a bit to see if that would calm her. She has calmed a bit and hasn't thumped now for about a minute. Thanks all for your help!

    HELP! Won't stop thumping!

Thanks, I will try that once she gets down off her shelf. Picking her up makes her more scared and I can't get a good grip on her at the moment. Her shelf is padded so its better than the floor outside of her room.

    HELP! Won't stop thumping!

My mini lop Sherbotsky started thumping about an hour ago and has not stopped. She darted around her room like she was scared but now is on the shelf in her cage thumping away. She did stop thumping to eat her breakfast but started up again a few minutes later. I tried sitting with her and...

    Hoomans moving...

Thanks to everyone for your wonderful advice! We are all moved in and Sherbotsky has done wonderfully! The night we moved her over she was pretty scared and her nose was shaking like crazy! Thankfully she has adjusted well and I even saw a couple binkies the other day! She has been eating...

    Hoomans moving...

Thanks, Missyscove! I hadn't thought about taking water but that is a great idea seeing as how we're going from city water to a well. I'll definitely transfer the same sheets with the cage. I also figured we would keep her in the cage for the first couple days and slowly expand her roaming area...

    Hoomans moving...

Hi everyone, My husband and I are buying a house (:yahoo:eeeeh!) and will be moving in just a couple weeks. We've been packing in stages for about a month (we have a lot of stuff) and Botsky has enjoyed the various arrangements of cardboard boxes in the living room during the process! I am...

    Getting pregnant

Thanks everyone for the wonderful kind words! I've also heard about the cat feces and will talk to my doctor about it when I go for a visit next week. We don't have a cat but I do come in contact with them in my work (in home mental health support) so it's something that's on my mind. Eep! So...

    Getting pregnant

Hey everyone, My husband and I have decided to start trying to get pregnant! I'm super excited but also very nervous! :bunny18 Y'all are the first people outside of him and I who know this, so feel lucky! I know this forum is for other topics besides rabbits, but I wasn't sure where to ask my...

    Tricks of Giving Metacam

It also turned out well with Sherbotsky as she actually would bite the syringe and try to pull it away from me! The first day my hubby held her while I gave her the syringe but the next two days she took it on her own. She was back to normal after just a couple days and didn't seem to need...

Sherbotsky is home from her spay!

My wonderful hubby took the shelf down right after we left for the vet. For the last couple days she's been back to her normal self and even binkied a few times! She's eating, drinking and pooping like normal again and we are so happy! Thanks everyone for your advice and support!

Sherbotsky is home from her spay!

They did give me Meloxicam (technical name for Metacam?) to give her starting this morning. We gave her some and she ate it right up which is good cuz I thought she would not take it. But right after she went back to the corner of her cage and wouldn't eat the pellets I tried to hand feed her...

Sherbotsky is home from her spay!

Thanks, Imbrium! I was so nervous all day til I got the call and it was better to have her home, but I'm still nervous because she's hanging out in the same corner all night. Can't wait til she's back to her old self! Random...how long will it take the fur to grow back?

Sherbotsky is home from her spay!

I took Sherbotsky to the vet this morning for her appointment and she was definitely scared as soon as we got out to the car. She hasn't been anywhere outside the house since we brought her home and took her to hubby's work to meet everyone, so it was a new experience! I felt like the worst...

    How to get attention

We are also a one bun house with two humans so Sherbotsky doesn't really have a shortage of attention. She has pieces of cardboard in her cage that are under her litter box and on her shelf (covered with a towel). She will sit on the cardboard and chew or grab the cardboard and then it will snap...

    Hormonal Bun

Sherbotsky was the same way, sweet and charming one day and then aggressive and crazy the next! That lasted for just a few days with the soft honking, circling, and lunging. She would also sit at my hubby's feet and just stare at him. It was adorable! He was actually scared to let her run around...

    Sherbotsky is acting weird...

MarilynBUNNroe, Thanks for that info! The peeing outside her litter box has actually stopped so I think we're okay there, but we'll definitely keep an eye on it.
