    Affectionate? Or Sexual Tension?

Hi everyone, Its been a while since I had posted, but I have a question. Sally is bout 7 months old now and I have yet to get her spayed. (Too spendy right now, waiting on taxes) Any who, I let her out of her cage every day to roam the house for a few hours. When I am walking around she is...

    Sally is cage aggressive....

:( I was hoping this would never happen, but my loving little lop who would fall asleep on us has now turned into a furry demon. It literally happened over night. Sally has been great, loving, gentle, playful, but as of today she will lunge and bite you if you put your hand in her cage. I'm...

    Due any day

So after a hospital stay for preterm labor, I'm 36 weeks and the doctor states I am due any day. I honestly can not wait. This pregnancy has been rough with the everyday nausea and barely nothing available to get rid of it. I have my baby's bag packed and still need to do mine. Uggg I am so...

    Bonding with humans

I think my holland has already bonded with us in only a few days of having her. She falls asleep on us, if we stop petting her she nudges us, she'll scratch gently at our clothes and just flops over on us then passes out (sleeps). She will even groom herself and snack on our laps. Would you say...

    Behind the name

Whats your reason behind your bunny(bunnies) name(s)? Jack - From Jack Skellington Nightmare before Christmas Sally - From Sally Nightmare before Christmas When Tim Burton started to do the claymation type movies I fell in love with Nightmare before Christmas. I know every single line and...

    Xpen Ideas

I let my bunnies run around on in my daughters bedroom on rug, but its becoming a hassle with running around cleaning up pee spots with the enzyme cleaner lol, so I have decided to use my set of NIC panels to make an xpen for my kitchen. My kitchen has linoleum so it would be a piece of cake to...

    Picture time!

Its time I posted new pictures! :) Unfortunately I had to re-home my English angora, she proved to be a lot more maintenance then I had anticipated, but I found her an amazing home in which the mother of three girls are into spinning fibers and wanting to start a bunny club for a group they are...

    Need some input

Does this look like a holland lop to you!? I am going to purchase a holland lop hopefully within the next two days. I had inquired about this little doe who's picture looked like this : Now her ears are floppy in the second picture, but the first picture is apparently her updated picture...

    Why are bunnies so addicting?

Seriously I have never had a pet that I have become overly addicted to. I am constantly looking at craigslist for bunny ads. I have located a breeder that breeds holland lops, english lops, and rhinelanders. I have my eye on magpie lop. Uggg they are like potato chips, you can't have just...

    Baby Lionheads need rescue

Someone on Craigslist in Washington state is trying to dump their lion head babies on someone else. The babies have clogged tear ducts and these people rather give them to someone else instead of being their problem. Can anyone help? http://skagit.craigslist.org/grd/3040130771.html

    Anyone dress their bunnies?

I was browsing etsy's pet section and they have outfits for rabbits. Simply adorable lol and hats. I'm tempted to make something (fairy wings) for my English angora for a photo shoot and so my daughter can enjoy watching her hop around. :biggrin2:

    Chewing sound

Anyone else like the way their bunnies sound when they're chewing on pellets, hay, or hard veggies. I was just hand feeding my angora some hay and it sounds so cute the way she munches. :biggrin2:

I know a lot of you use wood stove pellets as an alternative to buying feline pine litter. Where exactly do you find it?

    Homemade treats

Today I am going to make my bunnies some homemade bunny treats. Has anyone done this before? Here is a recipe I found except I am going to use less pellets 1/4 only and use 1/4 cup of ground whole oats. http://www.instructables.com/id/Homemade-Rabbit-Treats/

    New bun Cage

I ordered the cage last week and got it today. I am super pleased at how fast shipping was and the cage is a lot nicer in person. Super easy to put together and a lot bigger then I thought it would be.

    Ordered a new cage

So the girls are pretty much litter box trained, they don't pee anywhere in their pen unless its in their litter box. I have to say its kind of hard for me to maintain a NIC cage or build one that's not going to take up much room. So I caved and ordered my buns a nice pen...

One entire water bottle emptied over night

So now that my angora has learned how to drink water from the water bottle, she literally emptied it over night. Is this normal? Its not a big water bottle, a normal sized one, my guess is just to get a bigger one to accomodate her thirstiness.
