He doesn't look at all like the peanuts on any of those links. He is eating well and peeing well and pooping on his own. So I am just gonna keep him with me to keep him warm and let him see momma a couple times a day. We shall see how he does. I will keep posting. And hopefully get a pic on here...
They were the same size when born, I lost one and the last seems to be hanging on. He is smaller than the rest of the litter. But fighting like a champ. Their daddy is super small himself. Just over 2 pounds. I will get some pics as soon as I can. I have some just need to post.
My netherland just had babies. Two of them have rounder faces and no tails. Has anyone ever had this happen before? And is it possible to save a peanut if thats what is going on?
I guess I should rephrase the ton of buns LOL. I just read a post about a lady that had 100 bunnies. I only have 15, and I say that's a ton. Everyone is seaparted into same sex pairs and and a couple of loners because they fight with everyone else. Breeding is planned and scheduled around this...
I am in VA! I have a ton of buns. I work in a pet store and usually take everyone's unwanted bunnies to keep them from being let go. If I don't keep them I find them homes. I also breed Holland lops and lion lops.
His name is Butterscotch he is a sweet boy. No his dad doesn't lick him. LOL He licks my Flemish giant Kylie. Though he is a sweet talker to the ladies. All of my girls love him. I was in love with him before my bf picked him out. When you hold him, he will rub his face on your cheek. Total...
Thanks for that! Of course I don't mind. He is definatly not a Flemish he is only a third of the size of my (what I would say small) Flemish. But he is so in love with her its too cute. He licks and licks her. And she totally submits to him. I thought rex too because of the shape of his face...
I bought my boyfriend a bunny last year for Christmas. (Because he picked him out at the pet store I work at) and I am not too sure what he is. I don't really care. But would be fun to hear others opinions. I can't get his picture to post on this thread, but he is the yellow bunny in my gallery.
I removes the other female, mom still covers them but not like before. I also have another lion head that had kits two days later. There is a bunny boom at my house! :)
Congrats on the new kits. All momma buns are different. I have two new mommas and their reactions are completely different. On is relaxed and the other grunts and fussed at me if I even look her direction. She has been Moody for her whole pregnancy.
My rabbit had kits yesterday. Everyone is wiggly and happy. But this morning when I went down to check they were compmetly hurried in the corner. I had to dig a good ways down to get them out. She also peed on top of the pile so it was really warm. A couple have full yummiest and a couple do...
My baby made me so mad tonight. Mommy took her out and and gave her some of my attention. So I showded her. When mommy put her backs in my house I jumped on her an grutned! So mommy took me out and said I needed a time out for the night. Hmmp thump.
I told mom to explain what she will be doing with the babies we don't keep. She said that daddy's cousin wants one, and a good friend wants one too. And another lady from her work wants one too. Everyone of those people she knows and trusts to take good care of my babies and that they are to...
