Spayed, Baby mini-lop in need of home in Raleigh, NC Area!

We recently brought a rabbit into our home. Although we spayed, cared for her with lots of love, and tried to familiarize her with our family, she's very stressed with the cat and dog in our house. In an effort to make sure she stays happy and healthy and give her a chance at bonding in another...

    I'm getting kind of discouraged...

Thank you for all of the advice guys! It's just hard sometimes because I feel like all the hard work I put in isn't paying off, but I know eventually she'll come around. I'm also a little scared that after such an expensive surgery if she doesn't end up liking me it will be even more...

    I'm getting kind of discouraged...

I got a baby minilop bunny at the beginning of december. I've spent A LOT of time just sitting quietly trying to bond with her, but even when I don't touch her she seems skittish and she rarely lets me even pet around her face. I wanted to get her spayed because she's really sweet and I want...

Help! Need a substitute for pellets for the next day!

First off, it is totally not okay that I can't find my bunny pellets. I will get them ASAP (tomorrow after school) but I need a substitute for my baby four month old mini lop until then. I'm giving her lots of timothy hay and oats until I can get pellets tomorrow, will that be okay (I can...

    After Spaying...What to expect?

Thanks so much guys! She loves laying in her litterbox and I have aspen bedding down everywhere else, should I just cover that with a blanket? I don't want to take her little rabbit dome away if I don't have to but she does like hopping up on the top of it (it's about half a foot tall and...

    After Spaying...What to expect?

Who knew spaying a little bunny could be so extensive! Not to mention the price...over 200$ with a half off special! hahah, I'm getting my three month old mini-lop spayed today and she's happy and healthy, but I was wondering what to expect when she comes home. The vet was really sweet and...

    Bunny Biting:(

I thought spaying would help. Is nipping a normal bunny thing? She's never nipped at me when I've gone to pet her. Was she just nervous about me trying to pick her up again maybe? I'm going to start introducing parsley into her diet. Shes only three months so I can only give her a tiny bit...

    Bunny Biting:(

Earlier today, I tried to pick my bunny up to clean her rear end of poop that was sticking on her, and she peed all over me! I understood that she was scared, because it was only the second time I tried to pick her up since I got her. I sit with her everyday to bond, and I reached towards her...

Bunny has poop stuck to her butt and won't let me clean it off!

I recently got a baby mini lop and love her but she sits on her litter box all the time! She's starting to get dried poop on her butt and it's so gross! I know theyre supposed to clean themselves and she does but I don't think she can get it off, I tried cleaning her today and as soon as I...

    Biting Baby Bunny?

Last night, I offered my hand out to my baby mini lop. She had been doing her cute litte binky and was in a really good mood. She sniffed my hand, licked it, nibbled it, then bit down hard enough to draw blood. I don't know if it was because she was mad at me, but it seemed like she wasn't...

Should I practice picking my bunny up, or avoid it altogether?

thank you for the advice, I think she loves eating oats out of my hand so thats really good and I'll work with that. It's funny because I think she likes being pet on the muzzle because she'll rub it on my hand but as soon as I reach for her she runs. She needs time probably :)

Is it okay to give treats to a two month old bunny? If so, what kind?

Thanks guys! She loves oats, and I'll wait until she is older to start with the greens and such:) I have to get some pictures and upload them! I took a ton the first day she's so cute but still won't let me pet her so that's all I can do around her:p

Should I practice picking my bunny up, or avoid it altogether?

I know. I know I have to stop taking it personally and get her used to it it's just so sad when you want a bunny to feel safe around you to see them run away from you and cower like that! I'm going to try bonding with her since I've only had her for a week or so and maybe get her used to me then...
