    Bath time!

If there is risk involved even doing as you said "in the right way" (which there isn't for a rabbit), then why risk it? We aren't attacking you but trying to help you out. There is no right way or special way to clean a rabbit in a bath. It just shouldn't be done do to risks that are involved...

    Bath time!

Don't want to be "that guy" but rabbits shouldn't be given baths. They are rather clean on their own and if they get dirty unscented baby wipes should do the trick. The reason that baths are bad is because their type of fur can keep moister (no matter how much you dry them) and it can cause mold...

Kinf of new, meet new bun!

Thanks guys. :) I kind of like the name Hiccup too, but it means "runt"... so if he seems to be on the smaller side of FG's than that shall be his name. Haha. But i'm still unsure on his name, it needs to be a good one!

    Introducing bunnies and dogs

When I rescued Philly I had no idea how he would react to smaller animals. He was dog friendly and cat friendly, but that's different than "pray" animals. I had my two Dutch bunnies, rats, and mice at the time. He is a Pit Bull and an adult at that, who I doubt was properly socialized since he...

Need HELP - caring for wild cottontail

Do you have pictures of it? Rabbits leave their mothers at a rather young age. He may be fine to be released as crazy as it sounds. It is hard to keep wild bunnies a live, and if he is too young I would suggest looking for a wildlife rehab center.

Kinf of new, meet new bun!

I have been a member for a while but haven't posted much. I am a member of Binky Bunnies when I had my Dutch rabbits, but after they passed from old age I put bunny ownership on hold for a while. I wasn't expecting to get another bunny till my friend wanted a Flemish and found someone on CL...

    Mean bunnies! :(

I wouldn't worry too much about putting him under. I doubt something will go wrong. :/ But a neuter may calm him down a bit. I have a nippy bunny (she's about 7 and unfixed). She has never done is aggressively though, but many rabbits nip to tell us something. Mine either wants more pets...

    I think I have a ratty invader!

MagPie wrote: ^^ THIS! Exactly! The rats didn't cause it, and in fact humans brought it onto them selves form lack of hygiene and such. They are actually starting to find out that the black plague may have been passable from people to people as well. More rats died from the plague then...

    I think I have a ratty invader!

Did you know, rats and mice carry less diseases then cats and dogs? It's VERY rare that you or your animals will catch something from a rat or mouse. It's complete crap that the plague, rabies, or anything else that's "a serious disease" will be passed on to you or your family. It's also one of...
