    Stanley's New Thread

Oh and by the way, He did pull some fur out when he was nesting for that bit of time....could we have been calling him the wrong thing for all this time? What if he's a Saylor? (What I'd name a girl)

    Stanley's New Thread

I've been looking at Stan's nails and it seemslike the bottom of them has come off, and maybe a little bit of driedblood with it. Is there anything I should do? Would it mess them up when we clip his nails?

Stanley's nesting! :scared: I went in there earlier and his cheeks were full of cardboard. He is so weird. Could it be the weather?

    Kava Kava

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get yours? Like online or a drug store? But just now Stanley was letting me pet him and I pulled his paw outfrom under him and, still petting his head, I was looking at his paw,and petting it and he was perfectly fine with it. After, I gave him a...

    Kava Kava

Thanks for the link, Dwarf Angel. I would feel better using something someone has before for their rabbit. I can't touch his nails at all to even try the food method. If I try toclip his nails, he would just try to bite me, or he runs away. Prettymuch our only hope left is to get him to mellow...

    Kava Kava

Well, we don't have a vet, so.... we are looking for one, or for some rescue to take him to and get hisnails clipped. We're really worried that his feet hurt because they'vegotten too long.

    Kava Kava

Oh, I'm sorry I wasn't thinking when I posted. I can't find the link for it, but Kava Kava is used as a calmer foryour rabbit but said isn't a sedative. I was hoping it was safe. The link m.e. posted is correct in what I've found. We've tried different ways for Stanley, and in searching we...

    Blind Dogs with Diabetes

My dog did very well after being blind for awhile, and finding her way around. But after some time, it did progress worse and we couldn't do anything about it, so we ended up putting her down. I do hope everything goes well with yours.

    Blind Dogs with Diabetes

Oh wow, how weird! I recently had a dog with diabetes, who turned blind also. We had to give her shots, I think twice a day, and go to the vet and have her blood taken to check it.

    Peg's lionhead thread

Well I try to brush him when he seems to be losing a lot of hair, and only as long as he'll tolerate it which isn't very.

    Peg's lionhead thread

Stanley won't tolerate much grooming either...he's shedding a lot lately. So they shed pretty much like regular rabbits but require more labor on the mane?
