    Tough Decision

I think you should've kept him, but I'm also a firm believer in forever homes.

LakeCondo wrote: You still get that from the varied greens you feed, so there is still no need for salt and minerals. Many exotic vets believe in the no-pellet diet as well.

    Giant Breed with Smaller Pal?

Samara wrote: They shouldn't be companions for a few reasons, I've never heard being kicked though. Mainly they don't speak the same language, and wont form the same bond. Theres also a matter of poop/dietary difference. I have a flemish giant and lionhead (about a 7lb difference at the...

    Breeder/Buyer question...

Rabbits shouldn't be weaned before 8 weeks for THEIR health. Its not that complicated. They've done studies. I can't wait until they update the laws and make it 12 weeks.

    Breeder/Buyer question...

NJ, NY and PA are all 8 weeks, delaware is 12, most states are at least 8 though- http://www.arba.net/district/9/state_laws.htm Googling your state would be the best, there doesn't seem to be a Super list of everywhere :) here too- http://www.bornfreeusa.org/b4a1_petshoplaws_state.php?s=nj

    Foods in moderation?

Kale is fine. Foods like parsley and spinach are high in oxalates, which can be tough on a bunny but isn't always. Here's my go-to source- http://rabbit.org/care/veggies.html

What bedding do you have in your cage/hutch

We just have tile floors and then a litter box with wood stove pellets. Towels get pee'd on.

    Are Champagne D'Argent rabbits rare?

ZRabbits wrote: I'm pretty sure this isn't necessarily true, something about it depends on the ear marked and the country they are in. Maybe someone else will pop in and verify, I just know I've read it lately somewhere... As for the gorgeous bun above, I have no idea :D There doesn't seem to...

    Does this seem right?

Might not be too bad. With a spay certificate here in NJ girls are 99, boys are 79, plus exam (60) plus pain meds (100). But its more expensive here than there, so it might be right. And it didn't matter if it was my flemish or my lionhead. Did you find them from the rabbit.org approved exotic...

    On the grass...

Is the lawn chemically treated at all? If so, I wouldn't let them out.

Is squirrel (blue chinchilla) a showable color for mini lops?

I"m pretty sure having only half a mark above the nose is a fault. I cant see much else of him to say more though :)

Have you ever heard of a Red Hex rabbit?

methinks shes confused. Let us know when you get pictures! ETA- maybe she asked elsewhere and someone told her it was a red x, meaning cross? and she took that to mean it was a hex?

    Bedding and habitat question!

I was thinking this earlier but forgot to mention it, it might prove difficult if not nearly impossible to bond a foursome, so just something to think about when you decide if you're keeping the babies. And you might want to look into an xpen or 2, I know you have a gorgeous cabinet cage, but...

    Bedding and habitat question!

They aren't litter trained because there is litter everywhere, so they go where the litter is :) You can try plexiglass maybe to cover the wood floor? Wood is gross like that, it absorbs everything.

what do bunny's need and preferred toys and things

You can use shredded paper/newspaper for diggy boxes :) Some buns just use them for litter boxes though, so its hit or miss if it works :) I love cardboard tunnels from the hardware store (cement forms), boxes in general, a slim cats treat dispenser for giving them their pellets (makes em forage...
