I've never used the hay...we do good to finddecent prairie hay where I live. But I do mix up equal parts of oats,and instant barley. They get a tsp. on top of pellets daily, andoccasionally a small piece of whole wheat toast.

Now to just get all of them in the same post.:?

SPM, are you sure it's the poos, and not thescent glands? I have a buck that is a very smelly(sp?) boy, and itdoesn't matter what we do, he just stinks. This only happenedafter he reached maturity.

Gypsy, eventhough I have no pals, Ithink it's great what you are doing. We have a lady in ourstate, who raises pals. She went to the ARBA convention, andplaced fairly well with hers, and while she was there she soldeight. And I think most of them went to the east coast.

As far as my experience with bkn to bkncross.....I was concerned about it at first, but I really wanted totighten up a gene pool, and try to improve on body type so we did, andout of a litter of six there were two charlies, two broken, and twosolids.
