    Incessant Urinating/Defecating on Bed

thanks very much for the tips! I'll give it a shot and if it doesn't work out I guess I'll just have to accept that the bed is far to comfy for them to not poop on XD

    Best buddy for Romeo?

I recently went to adopt a wife-bunny (not as nice of a ring as husbunny lol) for my male bun Peppy and we found that they were nearly flawless together. They fought once when we first brought the shelter bun home but of course they were both fixed before meeting. I'm relatively new to the...

    Incessant Urinating/Defecating on Bed

So I have had Peppy and Clover together for a couple of weeks now and everything is going great. Well bonded, eating well, and almost behaving perfectly, almost. Peppy has always been good about where he poops and pees (save one spot, our bed)and is generally quite nice and friendly to us...

    Baytril Given for Sneezing

The shelter requires that we bring our bun to the attached vet clinic for them to cover it entirely and yes it is quite a hassle actually, especially since it doesn't fully dissolve in the juice and I am sure it's not good for her anyways. They told me she was their rabbit savvy vet but...

Question about tooth-trim (and anesthesia) recuperation...

I'm not sure about my vet but it seemed like she was able to trim Peppy's teeth without anesthesia? Maybe I'm wrong but it was a quick procedure and he seemed rather unphased by it

    Baytril Given for Sneezing

My newest bun Clover (female, californian/english spot, spayed, 1 year and 4 months old) had been sneezing since we got her from the shelter. Since the shelter covers up to 300 dollars within a week from adoption in vet services, I took her in to be seen. They gave me 68 mg baytril taste...

    Socializing a Timid Rabbit

So I recently adopted a bun from an animal shelter in Boston and although her and my first bunny Peppy bonded perfectly in under a week and now groom each other and cuddle, I can't seem to get Clover (the new girl) to not run away from me when I try to handle her. Do you guys have any tips for...

Peppy, Clover, And first time Bunny Bonding

Well it didn't take long at all! They are in the same cage right now and upstairs in Peppy's territory and are behaving perfectly! I thought this blog would be longer but I guess now all I have to do is talk about the cute things they do and post more pictures haha

Peppy, Clover, And first time Bunny Bonding

all is going well, no more fights just careful and cautious inspections of each other. Had to bring Clover to the vet today because of her sneezing. Got me worried so I brought her since the Adoption center covers anything within the first week up to $300. They gave me some kind of medicine...

Peppy, Clover, And first time Bunny Bonding

Everything is going absolutely great! We've been meeting them in different neutral areas every day and we have had two instances of cuddling already :D Tried the banana behind the ears trick which really worked well as clover was all over him after that. They haven't fought since the first...

Peppy, Clover, And first time Bunny Bonding

Last night we gave them another go in a neutral space. They chased each other quite a bit but there was a lot of (binky-esque) jumping around each other. Peppy got a little frisky and mounted her again but not for nearly as long this time. Clover seems to like to find a little nook she can...

SO SAD-70 ANIMALS RESCUED FROM ABUSE

So ridiculous "It makes me very sad," Scott said. "I think that as owners of horses that we have a duty to take care of them and to feed them appropriately, and if we can't then we need to find somebody that can. And I think that it's criminal what's happened to these horses." It makes...

Peppy, Clover, And first time Bunny Bonding

First full day with clover today. So excited to have another adorable bun but I can already see the major personality differences between her and Peppy. When Peppy's cage gets opened, he flies out of there like a bullet haha. Clover on the other hand responds best if we open her door and sit...

    When to Trim Teeth

Checked out Peppy's teeth, definitely seems like there is something wrong, top ones are starting to curl inwards. Couldn't really get a good picture and hold him down at the same time but I booked an appointment with the vet to have them trimmed.
