    Lego's not feeling well. Help?

Hi everyone. My bunny Lego (11 years old) is not feeling well. She has been having tummy trouble more often the older she gets. It's always been something I have been able to help her with... a bit of gas drops and a lot of belly rubs, and we can get her back on her feet for a couple more...

    Shaking Head

I have been working with my bunny Lego this weekend to help her thru a case of stasis. (I have a thread lower down in the infirmary). She's doing a bit better now, pooping (tho they are small) and eating some greens, hay & pumpkin. However, this morning I've seen her shaking her head...

    Diet for a Senior Bunny

My bunny is about 7.5 years old now, and I've noticed in the past while that she seems to be more prone to gut problems and slow-downs. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed a similar situation? Does anyone know if a diet change is in order... like far less pellets, and more greens? I...

    I'm worried about Lego

I'm really worried about my girl Lego. She's 7.5 years old approx. I fed her breakfast on teh way to work yesterday, when I came home she hadn't finished it. She'd eaten most. I've noticed this a bit lately, so I've cut down on her pellets, hoping she'd eat more hay. Anyways, she hasn't eaten...

    Please help change Canadian Law

Hi everyone! In Canada, unacceptable numbers of farm animals are kept in cages and crates with no room to turn around, stretch their limbs or spread their wings. They are pushed beyond their natural physical limits to gain weight and produce more milk and eggs as quickly and cheaply as...

    Please make your voice heard...

I'd like to encourage everyone to make your voice heard that factory farming is NOT acceptable. This is in the interest of anyone who cares about the earth and environment, and/or the cruelty suffered by industry farmed animals. The following is a link to a petition to put an end to this...

    How much food?

I think I might have been giving Lego too many pellets per day... but since I put Jacub down (her mate) I've felt bad for her and I just wanted to do something nice. Didn't seem to be a problem and she wasn't putting on weight, so I hoped all would be o'kay. But her late problem with an upset...

    Elder Bun Won't Eat

This morning I came to my bunny's room for her morning Breakfast... but she wasn't interested. Which is vey unusual for her. Last night she ravaged the food bowl, as normal. So I've put her on top of my dryer, turned it on for both heat and aggitation. Given her .5 of baby gas drops... and been...

    Bunny crack...

Last night hubby was sucking back a large blue Mr. Freeze... and Lego, out of nowhere, jumps up on the futon, and is begging DH for just a lick! Pweeeeze, pweeeeze she begged and begged. He finally gave her a little nibble, and after you should have seen the binkies... I mean she thought that...

My hubby has a room full of fish tanks, so I just couldn't resist this buy :biggrin2:... plus it was only about $5 CDN. She has yet to go in... but it is made of crinkly material, so I know she'll like it... she just has to get brave lol!!

    Ear Cleaner...

I use a vet eat cleaning solution on my goldens as they have floppy ears, and it helps to keep them clean and infection free. Just found this stuff on the Leith Petwerks site and wondered if it would be a good thing to use or not... as I've never heard of using an ear solution on a bunny before...

    Rabbit Harness

I have a cat harness that I use for Lego. It's just thin straps that go one around her neck (accentuating her dewlap :P ) and one around her mid-section. However, as she walks it seems to fall to one side or the other, instead of staying on straight. I like to keep the lead on and just let it...

    Introducing dog and bunny

My one golden (Sawyer, our male) is pretty good with my cat already. He's not a chaser (like Geddy, our female is). And kitty is slowly learning not to be afraid of him. I had Lego on the dryer yesterday to get her harness on for the great outdoors, and Sawyer came up and very carefully got...

    Taking bunny outside...

I have taken Lego outside in the back yard (fenced) to get some fresh air and sunshine a couple times in the past couple weeks. Last night I put her in the shade, and she seemed to be enjoying herself... she was grooming, etc. Then I picked her up and put her in a sunny spot. Again, she looked...

Does anyone know what Zirkon is? I did a quick search and I'm having difficulties finding what I'm looking for. It's for cleaning and will kill bacteria. I'm looking to see if I can get some to clean the bunny room. Any links would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

    Can anyone help me?

For two days now I have not been able to access the board while at work :tears2: I'm home now, where I can get on. Is there anyone who can help me tomorrow to figure out what the problem is? I can get to the yahoo RO site, so we can figure it out there. P.S. I'm in Ontario, Canada, and will...

What to do with unused meds?

I haven't been able to bring myself totake careof Jacub's remaining meds until now. They've just been sitting on the counter where I had them. I threw out the used needles without even thinking that they shouldn't have gone in the garbage. Now I'm wondering about the unused meds... how does one...
