    *URGENT* Rabbit dangerously skinny

Thank you for all those links and trying to help everyone, I thought I should just let you know that my baby Cotton has passed. I think the opening of the mouth may have been him having a little trouble breathing or something. I think all of his birth defect issues may have just caught up to him...

    *URGENT* Rabbit dangerously skinny

I just gave him his first dose of Panacur and now he keeps opening his mouth kinda wide every few seconds, what does this mean??

    *URGENT* Rabbit dangerously skinny

My rabbit has been sick for awhile and it had mainly just been bad incontinence problems, but over the past month he has lost a lot of weight. He has always been on the skinnier side but now he is to the point where I am scared he is going to die from being too skinny. Since he is very fluffy it...

I have never seen my rabbit lay down?

I’ve had him for a long time, about 5 years or so I believe.

I have never seen my rabbit lay down?

I was just thinking earlier today and I realized that I don’t think I have ever seen my rabbit lay down. He also doesn’t seem to sleep much, and if he does, he must either sleep sitting normally or in a kinda loaf position. However, I have never seen him flop on his side. Is there possibly...

Poop stuck on bottom of rabbit feet

Donna, my bunny sometimes gets poop stuck to his tail and I have been able to get it off by rubbing some corn starch on it and kinda massaging it, but that might not help you much if your bunny doesn’t like you touching it.

    White Spot on Rabbit’s Eye?

He does also have a weird bite (malocclusion) so my vet thought that the eye drainage was because of that. He has had this eye drainage for a long time and this white spot is quite recent, but these two things could definitely be connected since we don’t have a for sure reason as to why he has...

Poop stuck on bottom of rabbit feet

Here is a picture of the bottom of his feet after his bath. As you can see, there are two little spots where poop is practically on his skin. During his bath, we spent a lot of extra time working his feet around, and we were able to get the edges of the patches to lift up, but I was a little too...

    White Spot on Rabbit’s Eye?

I tried to get a better photo of his eye. The color hasn’t changed or anything, the only thing that has changed is that there is now the little white spot. I think I am going to try and get it checked out by a vet. It doesn’t seem to be growing or anything so I think that is good.

Poop stuck on bottom of rabbit feet

Yes I have just been doing butt baths, and the hair on his feet is pretty thin because he has been losing hair because of his incontinence, so it seems like it is on his skin. I am going to bathe his butt tonight so I will try to post a picture.

    White Spot on Rabbit’s Eye?

No he doesn’t have red eyes, I can try to post a better picture later and I am in Billings, Montana! I thought the spot was a little piece of lint or something like that but it hasn’t moved or come off.

    White Spot on Rabbit’s Eye?

I will try to attach a photo of my rabbit’s eye. There is this tiny white spot on his eye that has been there for a few weeks. We thought it was a piece of fur or something but it has not moved or come off. Does anyone know what this might be? I don’t have any rabbit savvy vets in my area so I’m...

Poop stuck on bottom of rabbit feet

My rabbit has pretty bad sore hocks and also poopy butt because of some birth defects, anyways he gets poop stuck on him a lot and now there is some caked and hardened on the bottom of his feet. I bathe him a few times a week but it doesnt seem to soften at all. I also don’t want to try to pull...

    Major Incontinence Issues

Shoot, I thought I got the fleece that would wick the moisture away from the surface like how you described. Did I get the wrong type? I saw that some people “prepare” the fleece by washing it or something like that, should I have done that? I could try the sherpa stuff or I could maybe save up...

    Major Incontinence Issues

In the photo of his cage, I made a little grid thing for his litterbox out of some plastic eggcrate stuff I found at Home Depot. If this doesn’t improve his condition, I will probably move to the vetbed idea! I also put some towels in the area where his litterbox isn’t located and then I covered...

    Major Incontinence Issues

I do not remember if I have said this yet, but Cotton also has teeth problems (malocclusion I believe it is called) so we have to get his teeth trimmed every month or so. This may be why he doesn’t eat as much hay, but he can definitely still eat because he loves to eat cilantro, pellets, etc...

    Major Incontinence Issues

I had the vet take care of Cotton while I was out of town and had them trim his hair around his nose and eyes, and they trimmed around his tail and inner legs as well. While he was there, they noticed that he had sores on his feet and that they had to get some pus out of them. I am not sure why...

    Major Incontinence Issues

I moved some of his stuff around because I felt that his litter box was a little full. I thought that that wasn’t enough hay, thanks for letting me know! I used to put a bunch on the side of his litter box but I felt that he liked to pee and poop on it rather than eat it so I thought that a hay...

    Major Incontinence Issues

I have attached a photo of my rabbit’s current setup. I also just got him a new hay rack and food dish thing, is that enough hay? Or should I attach possibly a second one so that he is getting enough hay? I am hoping to get some sort of fleece bedding to cover the bottom, would the sheep-like...
