So we've decided for the most part, we're doing new wire, a 1 foot expansion on the width of the cage, and a platform 1 foot off the ground. Thank you all for your time and help. If you think of any more ideas or inspiration let us know!
I'm adding the third bunny because a friend really doesn't want her to end up at the spca but she's getting evicted. I think it'll be manageable, but I'm always open to resources.
Howdy! I currently have a very large and very heavy cage for my rabbits. I was wondering if anyone knows of any improvements I could make? I don't plan on moving it around much and I may be getting a third rabbit so i don't feel comfortable making it smaller.
I have also considered plexiglass...
I have two rabbits currently, Gatsby and Skips. Gatsby is just shy of 17 weeks and Skips is 12 weeks old. I never incorporated alfalfa and was curious if I still should. All opinions are welcome but please try to be kind.
I have a 17 week old bunny named Gatsby. I haven't noticed any "male bits" yet. Is it normal to take this long?
(extra info: he's a holland lop and lionhead mix)
I've had him for 3 weeks. normally I give him his pellets and Timothy hay. Over two weeks ago he had dandelion heads and a few cucumber slices. They were normally very dark brown but always dry. Today we had a new variation. (image)
No new treats, last treat was a week and a half ago (3 dandelion heads). They're normal shape; just extra wet and sticky. He also hasn't been pooping in his litter box as much as he used to. (he used to poop in it 90% of the time but now it's 50% of the poop is in there. I took his pellets up...
Gatsby has some very wet poops. They are his normal size and round but they're wet and sticky. He's only 2.5 months old. I'm not sure what's going on. Any advice is helpful. Thank you!
