I know this is kinda a gross subject. But I flipped Tebow over tonight. not only does he have some NASTY poop on the bottom of his feet and baby wipes won't even get off and it smells HORRIBLE, Also would like to know what a neutered males testicles (bags) look like? And do the testicles descend into the body? Because i was told Tebow was neutered, his testicles look like just pink bags. but i'm no expert. but He humps his ball. territorial poops, and he pee'd on me. I've yet to see him spray anything. Any help would be awesome!

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure if he was neutered there would be nothing there. When I flip Cheeto, (who is male and neutered) it looks just like when I flip Millie (female and also neutered). If you're seeing "bags" I'm assuming you were lied to. =(

I'd say the same thing. I have a NON neutered male and you can definitely see testicles. I'd contact the person you got him from asap if possible and separate him from any females.

My BF said they looked like empty bags.. Do the testicles descend into the body? I guess the only thing i can do is make a vet appointment. I am also worried about the mushy poop that smells, its not the cecotropes. This poor rabbit has been through HECK it looks like.

I haven't had a rabbit neutered so I can't say what happens after they're removed but I'd assume like other animals they tend to shrivel up and mostly go away.

I have tried 3 times to contact the girl I got him off, she's ignoring me.
I pretty much rescued this poor guy from a tiny cage. He's skinny. and smells horrid, i've had him since Weds. she was pretty eager to get rid of him. He's so sweet and loving, but i'm preparing myself for a boat load of expenses with him. because I think she has lied to me about a lot of stuff. I guess when I get the cash, i'll be making a vet appointment.

Of course she's ignoring you. She lied to you and she knows it.

Poor little guy. Well at least he'll now be loved and taken care of properly. So this poop problem of his most likely has to do with his diet and food changes. I can't remember if you've said before, but is he getting the same kind of pellets that he was getting at his old home or is he being fed a new kind of pellet now, and how much each day? What kind of hay and how much? What treats and veggies and how much?

You could try a butt bath to get the poop off. You want to get as little wet as possible. If it's dried on, then get it wet and let it sit for a bit to soften up, then you could try washing it off. Then towel dry as much as possible, and make sure he stays warm until completely dry. Usually if a small chunk is dried on there, I will usually just try and separate the fur from it carefully and slowly pull it off, but if there is alot on there and it's really worked into the fur then you will probably have to do the butt bath. Bathing can really stress a rabbit, so be careful.

The testicles on an intact male should look like pink sacs on both sides of the gentiles. Rabbits can suck them up when they are scared, but you should still be able to see the sacs. Some fluffy rabbits can have lots of fur down there, so it can be hard to see the testicles.
A neutered male will not have testicles. If they have been recently neutered, then it does take a bit of time for the sacs to shrivel up, but that usually happens in about 2 weeks and you should still see the incision within that time period. If he has been neutered for a while, there should be nothing there and they should look like a female (until you actually go to sex them).

For the poop, you could try soaking his feet in water for a few minutes to help get it off. The nasty poops are probably more diet related and not getting cleaned enough. While intact males might have not stinky pee, the poops should not smell worse and should be the some constancy as any other rabbit. If you are changing his diet,he might be having some issues with that if you are seeing mushy poops now.

He still has some of the stuff he was eating with her, but its not in a bag so i don't know what it is. I usually use Kaytee brand but the pet store only had nature wise premium pellets. my other 2 seem to be doing just fine on them. I am mixing both of them together to "temper" into it fully. As for treats. Yesterday he had 2 baby carrots and a few apple bits. Today I didn't give him any carrots because of the mushy poo. I do about 2oz of the new and 2oz of what he has left. Hay wise I fill his hay rack with Timothy. as well as putting some in his litter box, He was getting oxbow orchard grass at his old home. and still has some of that left. he wasn't pooping like this the night I brought him home just in the last couple of days. He now has it stuck to the bottom of his feet and i have no idea how to get it off with out freaking him out. and it smells horrid!! As soon as I get some extra cash he's going to the vet for a full check up. because I want to know what else she lied to me about.

He wasn't neutered on my clock. I was told her was. ugh! The nerve of this girl!!! So how long does it usually take for them to get used to the new food?

I would suggest no treats or veggies for now. Cut back pellets to maybe a half tsp. of new stuff added to his old food at feeding time and just let him eat lots of hay. That should clear up the poopy bum. Just make sure that he is eating his hay ok. If the poopy bum doesn't clear up, you may need to stop pellets, and after a couple days it sould be cleared up, if not, then you will probably need to get him into the vet. Once the poop is normal again and no poopy bum problems, you can start increasing pellet amounts very slowly, like 1/2 tsp. a day. And as long as the poops stay normal you can keep increasing until you are up to the normal amount you will be feeding him.

It'll be better for him to have little to no pellets for a little while, as long as he is eating hay ok, then to spring a bunch of new food on him. Some rabbits really have to have new foods very gradually introduced to them.

I do want to add though that he is having normal poop as well. not to make it sound like its every time he poo's =) But i'll take your advice and clear out his pellets for tonight. I do have to say he doesn't eat a lot of hay. And i dont know why, or maybe he's sneaky about it.

I had a baby bun that was just the same. She would have mostly normal poops but would also have a few really soft mushy ones. But I wasn't introducing her to new food though. What cleared it up was reducing the amount of pellets that she got each time I fed. Some buns just have a sensitive digestive system, and you just have to tweek their food a little until you find the right balance for them. Hopefully with less pellets, your bun will eat more hay. Hay really is the best thing for clearing up those poopy bums.

I just cleared out his bowl, left a few nibbles in it and made a paper towel tube with hay in it. but he's such a brat! he doesn't like to chew on anything. and only likes to play with his ball. which I just took away from him to hopefully get him to eat some hay. but the poor thing is just eyeing me for it. I really want to bring him out and cuddle, but with his poo issue and also he pee's on me..lol sigh. my dwarfs never gave me problems like this LOL!

Lol, maybe you should stuff his ball full of hay :) I'm almost starting to think that your bun thinks that ball is his girlfriend or something.

Some buns are high maintenance. I have a few myself. Don't let a little pee and poop deter you from snuggle time. Just wrap messy bun in protective layer of towels, and there you go, pee safe cuddle time :) You may want a plastic bag on your lap just in case.

Bunnies can pull their testicles up into their body. The sacs also look like deflated bags right after a neuter, but within a few weeks they will disappear. Best to have a vet take a look.

I know coccida has a terrible smell, not like normal bunny poos or cecals. Since you have other bunnies, you know what cecals smell like, and this is not that smell, I presume? I would definitely get it checked by a vet. If he was in poor living conditions he may have picked up an intestinal parasite. Regardless I would give him some probiotic. Pet stores sell BeneBac and farm stores sell ProBios (I like to buy the paste made for horses) and giving a gram a day should help some. It could be an imbalance in his cecal bacteria from the bad diet.
