Naughty rabbit!

Can't believe it! Dixie has figured out how to get out of her cage! Got home from work and she had bitten off 7 or my laptop keys! I am now missing the comma button because it wont work when i clip it back on (It does work without the actual button though, thankfully) Tut tut, naughty girl!! At least all the letters are working, was worried at first because i thought she'd eaten them but found them under the settee

Gonna have to turn the cage round the other way when i go out so its against the wall or get a padlock. At least Thumper couldn't get out.... would've been double the trouble!!

Yay, I've fixed the comma now dunno how long for because its only a small piece of tissue underneath so it will press down on it :/

My computer is missing about three buttons...one of the control keys, whatever is next to the control key, and the down arrow. I've kinda adapted...she nommed them off months ago.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with a bunny who tried to type.

maybe she wanted to play scrabble...did the letters spell anything?

oh dear! what kind of cage did she get out of? I always worry that Poppy might figure out how to get out of her dog crate as its just a simple snib :-S

We've had Junie escape a couple times (not sure how she managed). The first time she chewed through a cell phone charger cord. The second time, we got up in the morning and she was just sitting in the living room. When we came around the corner, she got up on her back legs and and seemed to say, "Hey guys, what up? Nothin' to see here!" Naughty buns...but they're just so cute. It's hard to be mad at them.

Haha, she bit off a 'U', 'M', 'N', 'O', 'H', 'L' and the comma ¬_¬ don't think that spells anything, will need to find an anagram solver on google

And its quite a large cage where the whole of the front lifts up. There are two plastic clips on the left and right hand side. I genuinely thought it would be too heavy for her to open but obviously not! She must be very strong haha.

Its taught me a lesson anyway, not to keep my laptop out. She didn't bite anything else and at least its only her who escaped (i also have a snake!)

i believe she was saying U May Need One Huge Lock. she was interrupted, obviously, before she could finish with or i may escape again. ;-D

hahaha! tell your partner it could be worse. my angora chewed a hole in the wall all the way through to the insulation. my husband was not happy and the bunny was lucky he didn't end up as dinner. :shock:

I don't think he's going to forgive that easily, no matter what i tell him. So far Thumper has bitten through our phone wire (which we have still got to replace because i've only just remembered as we use our mobile phones 95% of the time) He also bit through our laptop charger wire (rabbit was fine but my partner ended up with an electric shock - not too bad though, thankfully) He has also bitten a hole in the corner of our settee.

See how it's usually Thumper? Dixie always chews her toys but i suppose the fun of escaping and being alone...

Oh well, I guess i'm still learning. Not my babies fault :biggrin:

I had clips on a NIC cage of mine that was fine for one of my bunnies. When I got a mate for her, the new boy made a fast escape the very first night. He just pushed right through the clips.
I had to switch to these kind of hooks. (I know photo isn't on a NIC, but it's what I used on the NIC by hooking over the bars of 2 panels.

Bunnies can be so naughty :biggrin2: At least they are sooo cute and easy to forgive.

My idea of turning the cage round has been successful so far

She woke me up a couple of days ago trying to get out but couldn't so muahahaaaaa! She'd knocked the clips off but couldn't open the door as the wall was in the way

Hope she doesn't get dizzy in the turning process! haha!
