So I came home today, gave Conan the Bunbarian a treat and he started circling me, came on my lap for 5 seconds, hopped off and when I got up he circled again.

I've read it means he's ready for action, but usually that comes with honking or grunting which he didn't do. Does that mean he just likes me and wants to play?

Important info, quite correct. No he's not. Waiting to see if his behavior gets too bad. I'm still on the fence about doing it if it isn't necessary.

Yes, he is claiming you for his own! Beware the spray may come.

Totally agree. Just know that he very well may start spraying. Since he loves you, you will be the one that gets it!

I have a spayed female that will circle me when she is trying to extort food, so the behavior may not go away once he's fixed (it's so cute I'm glad). Thankfully the spraying normally does.

agree with the above. My frenchie franklin started circling me one day after cleaning the outdoor bunnies cages and then came the humping. As soon as he was neutered he never did it again

Yup ditto to all posts. That's what I was getting at. Sounds like the "unneutered" bun behaviour may be starting for you! I would look into neutering.

Yeah, if I neuter it's going to be in January unless the behavior gets really bad. He only circled me that once though, hasn't since.

Ok, so he circled me last night a bit, but I really do think it was out of play. We've occasionally done follow the leader as a game and last night I circled him and then he did me. Otherwise there have been no other signs of hormonal behavior. Six months for a Flemish should be when they start hitting sexual maturity right?
