Bessie, a retired dam and Grand Champion, is now a houserabbit living with me in my apartment. I am her "mommy." Though she has earned the nickname The Dowager Empress, she adores me like a little girl.

Lately she has become all too spouse-like in the aftermath of my divorce. She started sleeping on the sofa with me. The other night I awoke freezing--she had stolen the covers because she likes to bunch them up and sit on top of them. Last night she started moaning and grunting loudly at intervals and nudging me in the middle of the night-- Her Highness had determined I should awake and fondle and stroke her. But I do have a few standards, folks! I draw the line at snoring. If she starts to snore and keeps me awake over an hour, it's exile to another room. Immediate! Lol! #FGProblems!

Any sleep problems would be enough for me to draw the line.

Oh, this gal is just way too charming! SNugglable but sensitive sometimes. I suppose I might just overindulge her a trifle. . . .

Let me tell you- she hands down beats an spouse with sleep apnea and persistent snoring. And, no, she doesn't even get to try Breathe-Right if the snoring starts! Lol!
