I was trying to learn the different colors for buns, and its a lot!!! I came across a website that said Oreo was a Black Butterfly in color. Then I read she could be Broken Black, and THENnnn i saw a bunny that was labeled Black Otter Charlie.. and it looks a lot like Oreo's color maybe more white.. but i just dont know.

Could someone help me? Please? :)

Is she only black and white? It's hard to tell in the picture if there is any tan on her. If she's all black, then she'd be called a Broken Black. The butterfly refers to the markings around the nose, that should be shaped like a butterfly. If you want, I can post some really good sites for lop colors (each breed has their own terms for colors).

agree with wendy on Broken Black. Yes Lops come in many different colors and those are some great website posted above

Thanks Wendy!

She only has black and white on her, no other colors. I'm going to take a look at those sites! i'm excited! lol :)

Forgot to add: Those sites are for lops only. So if you happen to get another breed of rabbit that you're unsure about, don't use that site. Some are similar to others, but most have different names. Not sure why everyone didn't get together and use the same coloring definitions...it sure would make it easier! lol
