Only if your bunny has teeth problems. Some bunnies will have jaw problems that set the teeth off kilter so it's tough for a bunny to grind down those growing teeth.

If your bunny has healthy teeth and good alignment, no trimming needs to be done. Good timothy hay, wood chew toys can do the job of helping your bunny keep healthy teeth.

Have you taken her to a Rabbit Savvy Vet to see if teeth are aligned right?

I know this sounds crude but I am a poor college student. I cannot afford a "vet visit" just for "check-ups". HOWEVER if my bunny ever showed any emergency signs that she is in DANGER then of course I'll add the expense to my credit card! I also did get her spayed and I make sure she is healthy. :)

What I will do is take her for a free visit at the PetsSmart banfield.. I think they have that...

Did you ever check your bunny's teeth? If you lift up her lips you can actually see their front teeth. You can "with your untrained eye", like me, that they are level and not overlapping. No vet visit needed. They should be worned down. But if you see an overlap or crocked teeth, then I would go to that free clinic just for a check.

But I wouldn't clip any teeth until I got a professional's opinion. Once you start clipping, it is an semi-annual or annual ordeal.

If a rabbit did have teeth problems, a yearly clip would not be enough. While it depends on the rabbit, the teeth usually need to be trimmed every few months, but some need it more often. Rabbits without teeth problems do not need to get them clipped.
A yearly exam can be a good idea and the vet will check the teeth (front and back) and if there is an issue you can talk with them about what is needed and how often it may need to be done.

They do, just go in and fill out a little paper they have which is usually at the pet training area.
