My friend has been watching my cats for years when I go on Vacation, and we trust him a lot. This was his first time watching my Bun and he did a great job but now my bunny who was very good at using his litter box before we left. Will now purposely go anywhere that his litter box isn't. I don't understand he was so good before and now he just won't go in his box :(

Hellpp?

My guess is one of two things:

1) He's developed a kidney or bladder infection while you were gone.

2) He's mad at you for leaving and is showing his disapproval.

My money's on #2. :p

You didn't say how long he was litter trained before you left, but it sounds like he may need some litter training again. ;)

Hope that helps!

I had to go to India in 2009 for spinal surgery.
We had 8 rabbits at the time and had to be away from homefor 3 weeks.

We got back home to find not one rabbit would use their litterbox.
On top of that...if I tried to talk to any of them they would turn and sit with their back to me.
I couldn't pet anyone, snuggle anyone...nothing...I was cut off!

It took about 2 weeks of bunny-butt kissing and LOTS of treats to put things back to normal again...but in the meantime...THAT was a MESS!
