Our last two litters had one and two max factor babies respectively. I have noticed there is a different degree of it. Some have only one eye slightly open and others both. i have never noticed anything strange about their limbs. Is there any other condition that causes the eyes (or one eye) to be open at birth and could these babies still develop normally?

Is it advisable then to cull a ND rabbit that is born with one or both eyes open?

I have never noticed any deformities except for the partially open eyes. I am feeling sick now thinking they may not have been max factors

Yes but my bunny was a Holland Lop and this is the first time i bred this buck and doe together.

I have never had a baby with stubby front legs before.:(It passed away at 3 days old.:(

Now wondering if i bred the same buck and doe together will i get more Max Factor babies?

So sorry to hear about your babies.:(

Was the hole a size of a pinprick, or was it larger?

I've had a couple of babies develop pin holes. As long as I've kept them clean, I've had no problem.
One had one eye sort of half open and the other had both eyes partially open. They did not look as large and ghostly as I have seen them before. Would they possibly have been ok?
