I want to geta companion for my bunnyafter she's spayed, but I'm not sure what the best way to go about thisis. Should I take her to a shelter with me and havet he staffhelp me find a bunny? How do I pick her a good friend?

I had a girl first and once she was spayed we gotan unneutered boy. They got along fine although he was always sprayingurine round her. However once he got neutered this stopped and now theyare totally bondedwith each other....I am so happy I got myrabbit a chum as Ithink she was lonely and it is one ofthebest things you cando for your bunny is to getthem a little friend, so long as they are thoughtfully brought togetherand supervised at first.

I think some shelters let you take a neutered rabbit for a little trialto see if it gets on withyour rabbitwith the optionof taking it back if they dont get on.

I thinkneutered girl and neutered boy is the best combo. Good luck.

I agree a neutered girl and a neutered boy arethe best pair to have. as for choosing another bun I would go for ayoung bun the older bun seems to accept a baby better than an old bun.Choose a bun that you like, visit a few sites and see what breeds youlike and what there temperment is like, if your bun is small dont picka large breed its best to choose a bun the same size. Hopethis helps you to choose your new bun, good luck and happy shopping.:D
