Here is a update on Miffy the Bunny...

Here is a little update onmy new bun, I found out that Miffy is maybe 5-6 months old, a lotyounger than I originally thought. AndIfigured that I would post a couple of photos of her cage,the tv box is covering up her litter box, and it is also her new perchthat she lays on. I just let her out of the cage into thelivingroom for a 1/2 hour and she loved it! She ran a littlebit and twisted her back legs a little bit, that is anotherconfirmation that she is a happy bunny right? I also boughther some timothy hay, romaine lettuce and a couple of brussel sprouts(yuck!). Right now she just has the hay, and she ate up adandelion that I found in the yard. I asked the grocer if hehad any, he said I was the 3rd person to ask for it and nope, he doesnot think that even the bigger chains has iteither.

And here is another shot of her cage, I think she was playing with one of her sticks when I took this one...

I'm so glad she likes it. That is one big cage. She must feel like a Princess with all that room.

She is such a cutie. And you're getting Binkies already...thatis one happy girl. Miffy is so lucky you took her in.

I wish my bunnies could have that big of a home.I would have to get a 3 bedroom. sorry boys you still have to share aroom. The bunnies need a bedroom too!!

Did you get new litter, or did Miffy settle with the pine shavings?

I ended up buying some CareFresh and she likes itmuch better, she did not want to even walk on the shavings.Now I need to figure out a bed of some sorts for her. It maytake me a few days to figure one out but right now she has a cat bed ofsorts that seems ok with her.

Be careful with the brussel sprouts (I agreeYUCK!) cause they can give her gas which isn't good. I giveBo about 1/2 once in a blue moon.

Tonight he got his first blackberry...... he licked his lips a zillion times after each bite LOL!

Bo has a little rubbermaid shelf bin for a bed and loves it.She looks about his size...... one side is lower than the other and hereally snuggles into it.

Yeah, today I discovered that I feed her too muchfood, she pooped quite a bit. I think I was a little tooexcited about getting her romaine, broccli (that she did not eat),cilantro, timothy hay and a couple different kids of treats.What is the "right" amount if there is one? She also haspellet food in there.

According to the HRS this is what you should feed Miffy:

vegetablesfruitwww.rabbit.orgfor a list of safefruits and vegetables.[/size][/font]

First is unlimited Timothy Hay, available all day.

Then 2 bowls of vegs. One in the morning, one at night.

Third is about 1/8 a cup of pellets per day becausePebblesweights only 2 lbs.

And don't forget to have water.

Oh yeah, he was real cute tonight. *sarcasm*......

I decided to fold a bunch of towels and other laundry while he playedin the familyroom. I was folding them next to me on theloveseat....... HIS loveseat. So, he hops up there anddecides to unfold EVERY towel/dishtowel/dishcloth right after I hadthem folded ..... :XSo I refolded them and told him to goplay.... I didn't see he came back..... I was watching tv and sortingsocks..... turned around...... UNFOLDED :XI put them awayafter folding them again.... came back and all of my daughters jammieswere unfolded...... :X This went on for about 1/2 hour !

You should have seen him throwing hotpads and ovenmits around I can't get mad at him! :?
